This may seem odd to you, but the odor could be in your nasal passages. You could try a nasal rinse or neti pot sold at many pharmacies. It's painless.

We get skunk visitation, searching for grubs, to our yard at night during the summer. The real skunk version is way worse than the Figment ride. If you drive your car over a dead skunk on the road, your car will smell like skunk for a bit. That's how powerful the skunk odor is. I've never thought it's real skunk odor during the ride, not even diluted skunk. However, it would be real useful to break-up a crowd.

I think it's in your head. Plus the real smell is MUCH worse than on that ride.

Our dog got sprayed a few months ago and I could smell it EVERYWHERE I went. I was convinced I smelled like skunk and I got so paranoid about it. Although I was holding the leash when she got sprayed so it was very possible. I did smell for about a day but after that it was just in my head. About 2 months later, after I stopped smelling it, I walked into my school and I smelled it again. I completely freaked out I guess there had been a skunk outside or something because everyone was talking about how the front of the school smelled. I was so scared that it was me

I was under the impression that the smell was "burnt coffee" or something like that.

I totally agree with it not smelling like a skunk....I've always thought it smells like burnt coffee.

I was just thinking if the smell really did stay with you, there would be TONS of guests in the World smelling awful all the time. Could you imagine? "Welcome to the smelliest- I mean happiest- place on earth!"

We live a mile away from a coffee bean processing plant (Autocrat), and we always know when it's "coffee day!" the minute we step out our front door. Actually, I suspect we're smelling coffee burnoff day when they clean the drums out, but I've never gone up there and asked.
And yes, it's a musky, skunkish type smell and many visitors to our house ask if we have skunk problems. I would not be at all surprised to find out this is the scent used on the Figment ride.

Yeah, we don't really smell it any more. Coffee milk and Del's.... the official drinks of R.I.!

Funny picture, Robo. My favorite is still the Yak/Yeti picture you posted last fall. I still chuckle when I think about it.

As I recall it was back when we were discussing that the yeti was broken (it is STILL broken, BTW) was not being seen by guests,

and someone suggested that they needed to make the yeti BIGGER...

Then, another poster (who was a bit confused, I think) suggested that Disney needed to fix the YAK
so that guests could see it.
