Journey Girls at TRU - are they compatible with other 18" dolls?

My DD wants an 18" doll (any doll) so I found a really pretty one at TRU - a Journey Girl. Now that I see the Our Generation Horse at Target is perfect since she loves horses, but I'm not sure it will all go nicely together. Same goes for the clothing. Is one 18" doll the same as another?? Never had one before.

Size wise you should be fine. The only issue maybe with the shoes. Shoes from one place may fit and others may not. We have lots of AG in this house, and an OG horse (and the Journey Jeep will be here for Christmas). And it all "works" together. The quality is different, but it works.

If you have a Big Lot near you, they have outifts for 18 inch dolls for 6-7 dollars and some have shoes. Walmart has an 18 inch doll and a line of clothes and shoes as well. (They also have a horse set (horse not included) with items to care for a horse and a cowbow hat.)

DD has 18in American Girl dolls and we got the Disney Girl outfits for it while in Disney. Everything fit except the undies, I guess AG dolls have bigger butts compared to Disney Girl dolls lol.
And the Our Generation clothing and accessories fit her AG dolls.
