Joseph meet’s Mickey! Day 6 – Spoodles, Epcot and Rose and Crown DIS Meet.

Date : 29th October 2006 – 16th November 2006

Where : Disney’s Boardwalk Villa’s

Today we were meeting up with my dear friend Carolyn that I met on the DIS a few years back. On a previous trip we spent some lovely times with her and her husband. As this was our first trip with Joseph and Carolyn hadn’t met him yet she decided to come down from Vermont for a few day’s and spend some time with us 

So we met up this morning with Carolyn for breakfast at Spoodles. She brought Joseph a big Donald Duck which he still sleeps with now  and other gifts.

We then headed out to Epcot as this afternoon we were having a big DIS Meet.

We arranged to meet outside of the Rose and Crown, we picked some tables and made a camp LOL!! I made Sue walk around looking for DISer’s LOL!! She found a few…

Gosh I remember that day, I was like the town cryer walking around the UK Pavillion looking for disers

. . . and I remember that the DIS group photo was taken just minutes before the Stringers and I had to part at the entrance of EPCOT, they to go to the airport and their flight home and me to go to the Wilderness Lodge for my three day solo adventure. Goodness, it is amazing how evocative of the past a photo can be. Isn't it nice that in that photo you captured the brief moment when all of us could be together that day.

Gosh Kaylee that seems live forever ago now doesn't it? I remember Steve asking me if I knew what people looked like on our way over and I said I didn't but it wouldn't make a difference as I would be able to tell who everybody was
