Jordyn's Journey to Disney-(MAW) Make a Wish Trip - Starting October 4th, 2013!!!

Day 1 (October 4th, 2013)

Ready to go through security

On the plane, excited for takeoff!

Our villa at Give Kids the World and our lovely Town and Country we rented. We loved that vehicle... It was pretty amazing. It had 4 buttons just to shut the trunk, and it had a movie player for the kids and we could check out movies from Give Kids the World to watch while we were traveling, it was pretty nice!

Here are the mandatory first ride on the Enchanted Carousel Pictures!

The Gingerbread House was amazing! That is where you met the most volunteers and they are sooo very kind and helpful and it just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside! We got there at night and ate soon after we saw our villa. They gave us a ride on a golf cart to the Gingerbread house for dinner.

After dinner, I had orientation to go to, so the kids and the hubby went to the the Amberville train station. They played games and watched the big model train set, and took a personal ride on the train there.

Then they went to the Pirate and Princess party and met some characters from Sea World.

They also met Mayor Clayton and Miss Merry that night!

I found the bed to be really comfortable, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever been on, and they had tons of pillows, which is perfect for me! The villa's were nicely decorated and very nice.

Day 2 (October 5th)

We took the kids to Keaton's Koral (not sure how it's spelled... : lmao that morning to ride the ponies. Jordyn LOVED it! Jeremy was a bit nervous, but I think he still had a fun time! They loved their cowboy hats they got for riding!

Then we took the mandatory daily ride on the carousel before breakfast. Jordyn had fun choosing a different animal every time she rode on it.

We took the kids swimming at Give Kids the World. They have an AMAZING splash pad and a fun pool if your kids like that kind of thing. My kids couldn't have cared less about the splash pad, but they loved the pool!

We then went and did the Boggy Creek Air Boat rides. It was a lot of fun, but really loud and we didn't see any alligators in the water because it was hunting season and really hard to find them at that time of the year.

The kids fed the little baby alligators they had their, and they thought that was pretty neat.

They also held a little baby alligator, but I don't have that picture on my computer. They printed out one for me for free because Jordyn had her button on. Jordyn was so proud to hold an alligator!

We spent the rest of the day at Give Kids the World. I would recommend if you want to spend a full day at Give Kids the World do it on an extension part of your trip if you do extend, that way you don't miss out a day of front of the line passes. It worked out okay for us, but I wouldn't want someone else to miss out... We came back for part of our extension too, and it was fun.

We did the Dino putt putt golf they have. Jordyn got a little scared by some of the moving dinosaurs and especially the ones that spit on you... Lol...

Sorry to hear about your health issues!! I've been there with the gall blander surgery and I can relate to the whole experience!!! Glad to hear that you are healing and have time to visit us here!!!

Sounds like the trip got off to a great start!! I should have warned you about the scary dino golf!!!

Day three we went to Sea World. It was great having the magic button because it let us show up right on time for the shows and we still got great seats in the handicap or reserved seating.

We met a character when we first arrived!

We were able to sit front row center for the Shamu show! We wore ponchos so we didn't get as wet. I was able to hide my camera under my poncho to keep it dry. I loved being so close, and we got some amazing pictures being so close!

Here is Jordyn riding the carousel at Sea World. She loved all of the carousels!

We loved to feed the dolphins! They were so nice and it was sooo much fun! Jordyn, Jacob and I loved touching them! I actually don't know if Jer got to touch one or not. Jacob helped him feed the dolphins.

Jordyn and Jeremy went on their first roller coaster! Jeremy was just barely tall enough to ride. (Technically, I think he was a half an inch too short...)

Jordyn LOVED the roller coaster! She rode it a few times because it was so much fun. She just giggled the whole time!

Jordyn got to see the rays. She LOVED it! Jeremy was sleeping and completely crashed out at this point, so he missed it. Someone next to us was feeding them so Jordyn got to touch a bunch of them! The person next to us even gave her a piece of fish to feed them with! It was amazing, and she felt really special!

We met some characters on our way out as well.

Because it was a weekend before Halloween, they had a spooktacular going on where the kids could trick or treat with admission to the park, so we did some trick or treating there as well. There were fun characters around like mermaids and witches that you could talk to and take pictures with. They spent extra time with Jordyn and made her feel really special because of her button.

They also had a huge bubble machine that made so many bubbles that the section of the park was absolutely COVERED in bubbles. It was fun.
Towards the end, we got rained on a bit and decided to go back to Give Kids the World for candyland night. The candy land game was rained out as well... We did a few activities in the Castle of Miracles, and then went to the villa to order pizza and go to bed.

We rode the ferry to the Magic Kingdom because the Monorail wasn't working well. It took us over an hour to get on the ferry to start our journey there! Once we were finally on a ferry, we were very happy to finally start our day!

We arrived, took a few pictures, Jordyn went to the bathroom, and then it started to POUR... It was really wet... It rained for almost an hour. We went in the gift shop first, and then decided to check out the wish lounge since it wasn't too far. By the time we got there, our pants were soaked even with a poncho on and umbrellas.

Once it stopped raining, we were off!

The first thing we ran across was a character meeting with Merida! We were really nervous to use the magic of Make a Wish when we first got there... The line was really long... We bucked up and used it, right at a great time. Merida was getting ready to leave on a break, so we got to be the last ones to see her, and she spent some extra special time with my kids.

Then we went towards the tea cups and found the white rabbit!

We rode the tea cups, and then it was off to meet Winnie the Pooh!

He needed a hunny break, but the person let us take a family picture in front of the backdrop while we waited!

We went a bunch of rides and then decided it was time to meet the princesses. (Don't mind Jordyn's hair that was messed up by the rain... Lol...)

We did the interactive Enchanted Tales with Belle.

Jacob was a guard.

Jeremy was silverware, and I just watched the fun.

We went to meet Tinkerbell after we watched the parade.

Jordyn and Jeremy loved to drive the cars! It was one of the favorite rides of the day! Jordyn is a terrible driver, by the way.... Lol..

We rode the Dumbo ride a bunch of times because the kids loved it so much!

One of the big highlights for Jordyn was meeting one of her favorite character's, Ariel!

We didn't get back to Give Kids the World until around midnight... It was a long, fun packed, exciting day!

We got there and the parking attendant gave us awesome parking! They gave us a tag to stick in our window so we could park in the preferred parking. This was nice, especially at the end of the day!

We all tried Harry Potter Butter Beer. It was super yummy!

While we drank our Butter Beer, there was a show to watch. After the show they let us get special pictures with us and the characters who were in the show.

Jacob and I took advantage of parent swap/child swap (whatever it is called... ) and went on the castle ride. It was a lot of fun. After, in the gift shop, we took this silly picture of Jacob with the kids. This is how it was sometimes...

Next, we went on the Hipogriff, which Jordyn LOVED! Jeremy, not so much... I think this may have even been Jordyn's favorite ride of the entire trip. She rode it a ton of times, thanks to the gold pass. Jeremy sat out with me or daddy after his first ride.

This is Jer's I really don't like this look... Poor kid...

We got to get our pictures with the Hogwart's Express!

Then it was on to Dr. Seuss things.

We went on the Cat and the Hat ride. This ended up being a favorite for both kids, but Jeremy especially LOVED it! I think this is Jeremy's favorite ride from the entire trip! We went on it sooo many times... Lol.

It closed early enough that we had time to go back to Give Kids the World and ride on the train before dinner time and bed time!

We got up and ready for breakfast. Jordyn wore her princess dress that someone on here sent her. She was such a beautiful little princess!

We were on our way to breakfast at the Gingerbread House and we ran into Ronald McDonald, so we got a quick photo to start out the day!

Of course we had to ride the carousel before we left for the day!

We ran into Dug when we first got to Animal Kingdom.

I don't remember the kids name from Up...

The kids loved the Kilamanjaro safari ride. Jordyn insisted she had to have binoculars to ride it and see the animals. It was cute watching her with them.

Jordyn and Minnie were so cute together. She was getting ready to leave for a break as well, but she took time to sit down with Jordyn and spend a little extra time with her. It was super cute!
