Finally! I've decided to start a PJ for our hopefully early June 2011 Escape Wedding SBP!!
About Us...
ME: Ashlee, 22 years old, registered nurse. Total perfectionist, been to Disney World almost every year since I was 3 years old...wish I could live there basically. Grew up in New Hampshire; lives 15 min from Boston now.
HIM: Jon, 24 years old, works in biotech field. Basically a genius, been to Disney once at 13 years old, refuses to fly ever again. He also grew up in New Hampshire; lives 15 min from Boston now.
US: Starting dating
when we were 16 & 18; met in a parenting class in high school...have no idea why either of us were in that class we do not have children nor have we ever! We have a dog is our son, his name is Owen, he's an Alaskan Klee Kai.
Engagement:We have been dating since June 25, 2004. He was 18, I was 16. Our 6th anniversary was coming upon us this past June and I was looking fwd to the weekend to celebrate; I had planned on taking us (including our little dog, Owen) on a horse-drawn carriage ride in Boston around sunset. It was Monday, June 21st 2010. Jon came home a little later then usual but sometimes he stays late, or depending on traffic he never gets home "on time". He came home and immediately went into the bedroom to "change". I was watching TV and didn't think anything of it. Later on he stated he was going to go play with the dog in the bedroom- odd, I thought, but again, I was watching TV and thought okay. He then came out holding our dog 5 min later and kept saying 'isn't he so cute? no really, look at how cute he is". They came over and sat on the couch with a very unsuspecting me. Jon would not let the dog off the couch and I remember saying "Just let him down he wants to get down". Then Jon said, "He has something for you" and thats when I noted something shining on the dogs collar. Immediately I thought OMG is this really happening?! But I wanted to play it cool incase it happened to just be ear rings or a bracelet. Then Jon spoke those 4 little words and I recall asking, "are you serious? is this even real?". It was perfect! I never suspected anything!
Wedding Plans Thus Far: We would like early June 2011, SBP definitely. I like starfish all of a sudden; i think it will be star-fish themed. IDK where we will be staying for the honeymoon I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to stay at the Beach Club but can seem to come to terms with spending $1000 for 5 nights on a hotel room- we'll see maybe my dad will want to help out with the room I've mentioned it, so we will see.
Ok will be updating soon as I have some good idea's but not a whole lot of time right now! I would love some feedback from anyone!
