So after arriving at the disneyland hotel on 9-25 I estimate we will get into disneyland around 11 am, I hae my favorite places to eat but I want to try somewhere i've never eeaten. I want to ride a main street vehicle and either hit jolly or village for lunch, the sandwhich menu at Jolly looks good especially since they have tuna, and village has the pastrami burger and flat bread pizza. Any reviews? Also by the time we get our room and everything will it be too late to get frozen fast passes that day for the late show if we get into dca by 3?

I believe they are distributing Fastpasses at park opening, starting with the first show and continuing until all the tickets for all the shows have been given out.

I don't know exactly what time they typically run out, but I think it would have to be well before 3:00 pm, maybe even before 11:00 am!

You could always look into the lunch or preshow package which you can reserve ahead of time. They are a little expensive, but if this is your only opportunity it may be worth it!

The Jolly Holiday is awesome for lunch! Make sure you pick up a dessert, too!

Have fun planning!

We like both restaurants. We like the turkey sandwich at Jolly Holiday, haven't tried the tuna but I'm sure it's good too. My 12 year old daughter thinks that the pizza at Village Haus is the best and we have to eat there at least once every visit. I also recommend the apple salad if you like salads (VH). We did the pre show package for Frozen, so I'm no help there. The show was amazing though, better than I expected. It was cast really well. Have a great trip!

How was the frozen pre show? I will be with my mom who will be using a wheelchair, was it worth it?

I really enjoy the sausage on pretzel roll with kraut over at Village. I hit that place every trip just for that meal.

That said, I've actually never been to Jolly Holiday because it always has a line out the door. And since I've never tried it to see how good it is, I don't know what I'm missing.

We really like the Chicken Sausage in a Pretzel Roll and the Grilled Chicken Sandwhich and VH. They are lighter, healthier choices that are very tasty and a bit different. Both can be had with fresh fruit instead of fries. We go there about 11:30 AM and most of the time there's only a few other customers in there. It makes for a nice quiet lunch break.
The JH is great too! Especially the soup and sandwhich.
We will do both during our upcoming trip but if I only had one choice it would be VH just because it's good and quiet.

Yes it was worth it. I don't drink so I just had a snow cone and popcorn. There was water and sparkling apple juice/cider (I didn't care for it). The photo opportunities were great, and the area was cute. Even without that the seats alone were worth it. The show was amazing, the cast is amazing they really do an excellent job. I did not expect to like it so much.
