So i am suppose to start day 1 with the protein and veggies for 2 days. However need some creative ideas for eating meat with no salt/sugar condiments. I have no idea what to eat. I don't eat fish and have always eated meat/chicken with sauce, which is why i am where i am now ;) .

What ideas can you share to make chicken/steak more palletable.

I would be nervous to join such a program since the corporation went out of business and closed the doors to all their corporate centers and most of their franchises on January 4th. Just an FYI :)

i am in Canada? I wonder if that applies here?

Sometimes I will make an omelette with veggies. That is protein and veggies. Can you saute in olive oil? You could just brown your chicken in a pan (small amount of oil) and then add your veggies.

Did your consultant give you any ideas? Grilled meat is always good. I know it would probably be really plain without barbecue sauce or ketchup. What about a spice rub. Without salt. You could make your own with just dried spices. If you have one you like just look on the ingredient list and see what is in there. Hmmm... I can't think of anything else. Lemon juice too for marinating chicken.

Good luck!

thanks for the ideas. I think my consultant gave me limited choices as she said the first 4 weeks are the toughest. But i am going in on Monday, so i will get more ideas. the book does list no red meat!! Which is my weakness as i am not a fish eater and eat chicken maybe 2x week. My family is big on meat sauce and spaghetti, shepherds pie, or anything made with lean gr beef. But i am allowed none for the first 4 weeks as well as no pasta, rice or Potatoes :scared1: . They are the staples of our meals.

But i guess that is why i am where i am :goodvibes

Any more supper ideas would be appreciated, :thumbsup2

i am allowed 1tbsp of BBQ per day as one of my condiments extra.

Does anyone who followed the plan know if i can subst lean read meat for chicken even a couple times a week?

Hi. I wish I could think of something else to recommend. You might try looking up Body for Life or South Beach diet online. They have some recipes on their sites and their dietary restrictions are kind of similar. At least maybe it would give you some ideas.

Four weeks isn't too bad. You can do it!!!
