John Travolta @ AKL

Met a friend for a drink at AKL bar on Staurday nite and had John Travolta and Kelly Preston come in and sit at the table right next to us at around 9:30 pm...........they were still there when we left around midnite.........the CM's were in major gawk mode but he handled himself well, CM's aren't allowed to talk to VIP guests but they made many the walkby's..........also saw Ty Willingham and the rest of the Notre Dame coaching staff disembark from a limo and play Eagle Pines golf course right behind us on Friday........seemed awful quiet around WDW last week though.....

Sorry, no dancing .....although I left at midnite so maybe he did a little Pulp Fiction/Saturday Nite Fever after we left............he seemed smily and relaxed though, which was a nice twist to the usual grumpy and tense star turns............

You didn't speak to him at all!?!? I would LOVE to see/meet him! I've loved him since 7 years old (you know... Danny in Grease) and have gone to see every movie of his including the really bad ones!! (Staying Alive, Look who's talking) I'd just have to have a picture or autograph...something!!

I know I would have been totally star struck and wouldnt have been able to talk to him (I think) I wonder how he would have handled you talking to him, everyone says what a wonderful and genuinely (sp) kind person he is, who knows maybe he was waiting for you to ask him to dance.

Well though I'm always willing to dance I am a happily married GUY!!!........Although if Kelly Preston had asked me to dance I may have been able to find the time..........lol..........

My friend was in a bar when the Edge (is that his name?) from U2 came in. She sent drinks over. When he left he stopped at her table and thanked her for being so kind and not interrupting his conversation and chatted with her for a few minutes. She had just been to their concert and is a major U2 fan. I thought that was a great way of handling seeing a celeb. They must get tired of the constant attention (although I don't feel THAT sorry for them!)

There is no way I could have seen John Travolta and NOT talked to him.. although more likely I would have froze and stared instead of talking to him.

Wow! That's so cool. It's been a fantasy of mine since childhood to sing "You're the One that I Want" as a duet with John. Of course, I'd let Kelly sing too so we'd actually be a trio. I thought Kelly seemed like a nice person on the celebrity version of "Fear Factor", but then again she is an actress.

I loved the dance scene in Michael. It was a cute movie. I think he is a really nice guy and probably wouldn't have minded a little hello from a fan. My aunt ran into him in NYC. Literally ran into him as he walked around a corner and bumped right into her. She couldn't speak as she realized who he was but he greeted her and smiled and walked on as she stood there with her mouth open just staring (sp)

I hate to say it but this would be me, Just staring at him, I would look like cindy brady on that quiz show when she couldnt say a word. LOL
