BREAKFAST: fake eggs ;) approx 1...1 pc lc/ff toast (wheat) w/ 1/2 tbsp strawberry preserves...2 turkey sausage links, 1 pc turkey bacon...

SNACK: 1 WW fudge bar (even though I don't count points, it says 1 pt, so a good snack! ;) )

LUNCH: 4 chicken tenderloins, grilled w/ chedder cheese, 1/2 baked potato w/ff butter spray and topped with lf cottage cheese YUM! :teeth:

SNACK: 1 cc granola bar (small)

ok, dinner tonight:

this was a new recipe i came up with that was OUT OF THIS WORLD


cube chicken breast (or tenders) and marinate in a bowl of teriakye sauce, also cut off tails of uncooked shrimp and marinate in the same sauce (different bowl)

add a little light olive oil in an electric skillet (or reg skillet if you choose)
add chopped fresh garlic
chopped onion
sliced thin yellow squash
fresh sliced mushrooms
garlic powder
pepper
saute'...



NOW...
when the first mixture is 3/4 way done, add the marinated chicken and cover....when chicken is nearly done throughout, add the shrimp

let cook about 3 minutes and add green onion (chopped)

cook an additional 3-5 min stirring occasionally....

i didn't really measure anything, just eyeballed it to see about what would feed the 5 of us, and I was on target!

serve over a bed of white or brown rice...or eat by itself if you are carb watching :teeth:

THIS WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!!! :)

hope you all had a great day...i hurt my left foot and have been hobbling along all day, didn't do my 3 mile walk because of it, but going to try to do some crunches or something like that in a bit...we'll see how that goes :rolleyes:

Hey, Jen! Congratulations on the great job offer and all the amazing exercise you have been doing. You are really kicking butt, aren't you? I am sorry you hurt your foot, but I bet it was from all that "happy-dancing" over the last day of your job!

So, when does the new job start? Bet you are psyched to have a couple weeks off,right?

ok, yesterday we went to HOLIDAY WORLD in SANTA CLAUS, IN ...my kids, jeff and me and my mother ...we had a wonderful time WALKED MY BUTT OFF (which is a good thing) drank lots and lots of water....

swam some...herew as my eats:

BREAKFAST: oj & meal replacement bar

LUNCH: 2 chicken fajitas w/little sour cream (few nachos w/cheese--(5 of them or so)

SNACK: ice cream cone (chocolate soft serve)

DINNER: 6" turkey sub from subway, 1 pkg baked lays (plain) and light lemonade

todaY:

breakfast: APPLE/cinnamon soy crisps

LUNCH: hc pep pizza

SNACK: ww fudgecicle

DINNER: chicken/shrimp teryake w/veggies and white rice

SNACK: 1/2 c pineapple sherbert

WATER AND MORE WATER!!!


going to do my WALK AWAY THE POUNDS TONIGHT

www.holidayworld.com is their website...it's just what you said Mike, a holiday theme'd amusement park, with water park, roller coasters, etc....it's small compared to other parks, but more than enough to do, cheaper than most, free soft drinks (this didn't helpm me since i dont' drink them LOL) and free parking, so a really nice place to visit for the day...anyhow i was zonked after that!

well after the scales doing some ups and downs, probably due to too much sodium over the past few days I'm back at 271.5...so hopefully i'll lay off the sodium and see a good loss tomorrow or the next day :) that would be nice i'm DYING for the 60's....it would be a GREAT moral booster at this point! :)

i'm off to my new job today (my teaching job) just getting paper work knocked out, setting up my office, etc...no teaching til sept, but i get paid for today, so i'm game! :)

doing well

yesterdays eats were:

BREAKFAST: bowl of shredded weat in skim milk

LUNCH: 2 turkey/cheese grilled (in ff butter spray pam) w/tomato and onion on lf/lc bread

DINNER: 3 chicken strips (a planned splurge) @ the drive in...plus a little popcorn and 5 sugar free chocolates...however I got sick after eating these things...probably because my body is not used to them and THEY ALL CAME BACK UP!!!

oh also had some bing cherries earlier in the evening, they came up too :(

WATER: 64 OZ

EXERCISE: walked 1.5 miles

ok...that's it from gator world...oh and even though gator hasn't posted, he got his 35# clippie...i'm off to update his stats for him now
