Jen's Famous "Marvelous Mexican" Dip

equal parts:

ff or light sour cream
salsa (i use medium, but use what you like)
ff or lf shredded mild chedder cheese

mix in a bowl...serve chilled w/ lf/lc torilia chips...

it's OUT OF THIS WORLD good! :)

Oh YUM that receipe sounds great. One question, can you taste the sour cream much? I am not a fan of sour cream.

well it doesnt' taste like sour cream to me, however i like sour cream...so i'm not a good person to ask LOL...it's really good dip though


ok, guess what i did last night??? any takers??? :teeth:

I RAN 1 mile....well there was a little walking in there too, LOL, but more than half of it was RUNNING...omg I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID THAT!!! i'm sore this morning, but i'm PUMPED UP!!! :teeth: jeff and I both did it...i've also been working out on my stepper...and man or man...my legs are SORE!!! getting that exercise in though

yesterdays eats:

BREAKFAST: fresh bing cherries 1 c

SNACK: honey and oats bar

LUNCH: hc pep french bread pizza

SNACK: honey and oats bar, few bing cherries

DINNER: bite of rice, 5 small pc turkey breast

WATER: 48 OZ

EXERCISE: ran/walked 1 mile

okie...that's it for me from yesterday...also wanted to report

I GOT A TEACHING JOB!!! I will be teaching 3 classes for the fall semester at a local technical college...I"m very excited about this! it's in my field and the potental for full time within the year...i'm not waiting to hear from another job i interviewed with and i'm hoping to get it too as it is 32 hrs a week and flexable...i'm hoping to work both of them til i get on full time at the college....so we'll see how that all flows, they're supposed to let me know this week. :)

ok off to get this day KICKED OUT... :) guess what i'm doing today??? bet you'll NEVER guess!!!!

OH I'M JUST :fish: SWIMMING...JUST KEEP :fish: SWIMMING...yep, THAT'S ME :fish: SWIMMING!!! COME ALONG AND JOIN! :)

I have been lurking on this thread for the past month and I wanted to let you know what an inspiration you are to me and probably a lot of other WISHers on here. I just started my own WISH journal today and I am really excited! I hope I can do as well as you! I also want to congratulate you on your job offer-That is Awesome! I wish you luck in all that you do! :flower:
 
hello ladies and gents!!! it's a beautiful day in GATORWORLD!!! :cool1:

i bought the DVD: WALK AWAY THE POUNDS (Walk and Jog) Power Series...it is a 33 minute walk/jog and Jeff and I did the entire thing tonight, at the end she said it was the equivilant of going 2.5 miles! :teeth: YAY!!! it felt GREAT...we both worked up a big sweat, and pushed it to the limit!!! :Pinkbounc

my eats:

BREAKFAST: bowl shredded wheat/skim milk

SNACK: pineapple sherbert 1.5 c

LUNCH: 2 turkey burgers on 2 pc total lc/ff bread...onion/mustard, ff cheese (1 slice total)

SNACK: 1 PK 100 CALORIE oreo crisps

DINNER: 6 unsalted saltine crackers w/light pb & j + 4 lc tortia chips and my famous dip

WATER: 48 oz

EXERCISE: 35 min walk away the pounds plus a warm up!!! :)

ON TO ANOTHER GREAT WEIGHT LOSS DAY...hoping to see another loss by the weekend! :teeth:

thank you sooo much for the positive and sweet comments...i hope i can be (and that i am) an inspiration...i'm no different than any person here, i just try VERY hard EVERY DAY and keep a positive attitude ALWAYS!!! i'm not losing as fast as I wish I were, but i didn't gain all this weight quickly either...i've been overweight for 14 yrs...so i'll take my 27.5 lb loss in just over 2 months and RUN WITH IT....stay positive and KEEP SWIMMING...you'll have your 70# off i no time at all!!! when i get the chance i'll visit your journal...keep up with it, this has been SO IMPORTANT on my journey thus far...and trust me...you'll be an inspiration yourself before you are through!

i think it is great that you stick with it, even when it gets tough! That is how I want to be. I give up really easily. I am the type of person who thinks, I can start my diet on Monday-then never does. But that is why I am on the WISH boards, it is really helping! It helped me lose 30 pounds. I hope that by journaling it will help me lose the rest. Have a great evening and keep up the great work! :flower:
 
started my day right with 35 minutes of 'walk away the pounds' (walk/jog) equivilant of 2.5 miles...yay! now going to make it a SUPER day where eats are concerned and do either 3 mile REAL walk tonight, or the stepper for 45 min..not sure which!! my unspoken goal in aug is to exercise EVERY SINGLE DAY...we'll see how that comes along...so far, so good! :)
