had 1 hc french bread pizza, + some bing cherries

water to drink....

walked 1.5 miles :)

Your pix were great. In only 2 months time I could tell a big difference between the May & July pix. Both you and your husband look great. Can't wait to see mid August updates! :cool1:

hi all MORNING!!! :flower:

wow, what a day yesterday!!! I walked 3 whole miles!!! i'm so proud of myself!!! the last quarter mile I almost jogged it (very very very fast pace)...my heals are a mess, but lesson learned...don't wear those shoes again ;)

so since my heals are in such bad shape I'm not going to push it and walk the 5k saturday...i'm probably not ready yet anyhow, there's another in a couple of weeks, I think I'll keep "training" and do the next one :)

besides our niece Josie wants to come spend the night with Joely tonight, and I don't think Gator would like to be left with her tomorrow, she's TWO HANDFULLS!!! ;)

so it's FRIDAY! :Pinkbounc YIPPIE....I was down another pound this morning...man I'm just DYING for a good loss....like 3-4#, that would be AWESOME...I mean all at one time...but I'll take what I can get! ;) 1 pound lost is better than 1 pound gained! :teeth:


ok, off to start my day, going to eat a cereal bar, maybe two for breakfast because it's what I have here! Lunch is a hc pizza and going to walk up to the cafeteria and get some fruit YUM :goodvibes

Sorry, I haven't been by in awhile. I think you are doing great! :banana: Who wouldn't want to see 3-4lbs gone in a day? But realistically, it doesn't normally happen. As long as you are losing, you know you are going in the right direction. Look at it this way, you have already lost almost 15% of what you want to lose altogether. That is great progress! :cool1:

I'll venture to guess that you are fitting into smaller clothes already. A great way to "free" yourself is to pack up the "too bigs" right away and get them out of the house. It feels sooooooooooo exhilirating. Almost like a burden off your shoulders. I have been doing it throughout this journey (have to do some more here in a few days) and needless to say, I am starting to have some empty closet and drawer space. All the better to fill when I reach my goal. :goodvibes

Take care of your feet. Those are very important. I know how hard it is to find shoes you can walk a good distance in now-a-days.

I think you are right on about your heels needing healing! The next 5K will be there for you and you will be making sure you don't hurt your heels more!

Forgot to mention. Yes, I have a Gran, but no Budah. My sister and I nicknamed my father's parents, Gran and Gramps, so that we could distinguish them from my mother's parents, Grandma and Grandpa, whom we lived with for most of our childhood. ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo
 
ok, here's my day in a nutshell guys!

BREAKFAST: 1 strawberry cereal bar

LUNCH: HC pep pizza (french bread style) + 1 c fresh bing cherries

DINNER: (chinese) 5 steamed dumplings, 3/4 c steamed white rice, 4 small pc chicken terryoke (spelling?)

WATER: 66 OZ of water

EXERCISE: walked 1.5 miles!!! :)

and that's all she wrote!!! hoping to see some more movement down on the scales VERY soon!!! :teeth:

HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE A SUPER DUPER WEEKEND!!!

ended up having a few lf/lc tortila chips last night and some salsa, as well as a 1/2 c ff frozen yogurt.

i was really hungry after dinner, so decided since i was TRULY hungry i'd go ahead and have something.

guess it didn't hurt, cause I'M DOWN ANOTHER POUND this morning!!!

That's AWESOME!! Congrats! Another one bites the dust!

It is one of the most fascinating things about this journey (althought I'm not doing a good job of it right now) that if we will listen, our bodies will tell us just what we need. Mine kind of shouts "Shut up and LISTEN, STUPID", but it can work well.
