My take with Jodi is that she tried everything Darryl wanted in a woman. She tried to be responsible adult and work and help with all the bills. But when something else came along to let her wild side come back out she turned the tables on him.

I think Jodie was trying to fix and find that "Dad" thing in her life as so many young people do. She thought he would be "right" for her and help her fix her naughty little nagging bad girl side. She tried. She may have even been content for a short time. But he was too nice and too normal. She clearly loves experimenting, and no disrespect to DB, but he doesn't seem to be a chandelier swinger..........She left to go find something new and exciting. How over the moon she must have been to find poor Travis. He wanted a good Mormon girl and to explore his naughty side ( and I think we all have them). Thing was SHE thought she could be those, he didn't. He was doing what young, virile men with too much testosterone have done for ages and ages. My own Dad used to say "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". He didn't want the easy cow.

The DT has gotten on my nerves and they did not do a perfect job. But in their defense, they have precious little to work with. They have a client who blabbed to anyone who would listen and managed to tell multiple stories to explain what had happened, establishing her as a supreme liar. She clearly does not take their advice. It's hard to help a client who is hellbent on proving she is the smartest cookie in the jar and that you with your law degree know nothing compared to her.

Checking in from the hospital! Left about an hour ago. I started having intense pressure and it was different, so to speak. I am now getting checked out. 2-3cm dilated, -2 station. Nurse said I'm 'favorable.' Waiting to see my OB and or resident. Contractions are still very intermittent. Nothing has been consistent since this morning. If we have the option of inducing we will. Keep you posted.

I totally appreciate the support! Doc came in 10 min ago and we are being admitted! She will probably be born some time tomorrow. I will try and update.

This is the best news I have heard all day!!!!! I'm so excited for you!! keep us updated and take it easy!!

BABY CHARLOTTE WATCH!!!!! Piglet, we're all so very excited for you. I say she's going to be born around 5:50 tomorrow morning! I do hope you post pictures so we can all oooh and ahh over her. I heard you were being admitted and my cold heart softened a bit and I almost cried with happiness (When did I turn into such a sap???? Maybe it's the sadness knowing I'll never have another baby )

Hugs to not only you, but your moms and husband as well. And prayers that everything goes smoothly with no complications....and limited pain!!!

I failed to quote people because I was so excited for piglet! Earlier I was watching Jodi's testimony about Daryl and she said that he had kept a lot of things hidden from her until well into their relationship. One of them was smoking, she said "I didn't want to be a smoker but since he was, I was accepting and didn't mind". Why would she have had to be a smoker, or did she become a smoker to be close to him?? She said that he had a lot of things that she didn't like but overlooked them. That doesn't make any sense to me. Daryl offered a stable lifestyle that she couldn't obtain on her own and would deal with whatever to have that. She did the same thing to Travis. She only wanted a lifestyle and tolerated whatever she needed to....except Travis not wanting to marry her.

I'm not judging this guy on his looks, but Jodi must have seen dollar signs in this guy because he is definitely NOT the George Clooney type she claimed him to be. I also believe that there is some sort of hold she has over him...possibly fear for his or his son's safety if she were to get life with parole. It's a whole new ballgame when you involve kids. Wonder what the kid thinks of the fact that this girl used to live with them!

I don't find him creepy, he is just talking from how he really saw Jodi, and then a big change occurred.

Piglet has been hooked up to Pitocin. She's 3cm dilated. Contractions are becoming more painful, but so far she's chosen to go natural. Doc said the baby will mostly like be here tomorrow morning. We are all very excited and we cannot thank you enough for the warm wishes.

I really didn't see anything at all creepy about DB. He seemed sincere and totally honest and believable and forthright. I totally understood why his face was originally concealed and understood his now feeling the need to be heard and seen. Only creepy thing to me was the major age discrepancy between the two. Maybe she had daddy issues (as someone here has already stated) and I am sure most to all men would have appreciated the ego boost of a much younger hot lady coming on to them. I believe DB testifying could possibly help JA's case if they heard him say in that calm manner listing her positives he witnessed and saying he feels she needs help. I don't think he fears JA or has fear for his sons safety. He loved the good JA rather than the monster she grew to be.
I have sort of had misgivings about PPL from the beginning. I didn't change my opinion after hearing DB's thoughts on JA transformation after becoming involved with PPL.

Is anybody getting stormy weather? Hope none of you are in Oklahoma, just turned on the tv to see the devastation. Did I hear right that two schools were hit? Sickening. The wind has just picked up quite a bit here and lightning and thunder. I'm always tempted to have my daughter sleep with me when storms are supposed to get bad. (Feels like I'm at a cheap motel with my bed shaking from the thunder!!!) I keep thinking about all the kids who were probably scared out of their mind wanting their parents...and their parents who were wanting their kids. So sad.

Thanks for the welcome. What I find creepy is he seems to use the same syntax as Jodi. He chooses and arranges his words just like Jodi does. Weird. Also, his emotional maturity seems a little stunted when speaking about not wanting to have more children because it would take away from the limitted time he has with his son. He couldn't live with himself?? Seems odd to me.

It's Mr Piglet! I should always read things through to the end, rather than read the first couple of lines over and over again. I thought Pigletgirl was talking about herself in the 3rd person...delirious from labor pain or meds. (But it IS much funnier to read that way. )

First thing I'm going to do in the morning is check this thread for NEWS!!! We're all excited for you both. Lots of good thoughts and prayers for you all.

It's horrible. One more terrible tragedy. Heartbreaking. Last I heard, 20 children dead.

I think that's a very natural emotion. People who do want more than one child (such as myself) can feel that too. A divorced person may feel a little traitor-ish if they see their child on a schedule and then have another child disrupt that time. As far as his speaking like Jodi, .

Just saw Perky Katie on Dr Drew discussing today's court news, and she said, shaking her head and announcing dramatically, "Jennifer looked like she did not want to be there..." "Jennifer"? Did I miss the "new bestie" announcement?
