Jodi Arias Trial Part 6, starting with JM Rebuttal April 16

Sorry, :lmao: yeah, she is um sitting next to me...

not!!:rotfl2:
OK, spit it out...you're Jodes' mother.
popped in to get caught up today. Did Wilmott really say that or am I just kinda hearing it cause the word was already in my thoughts...KWIM??
I put it in the first post so we can listen to it over and over and over again. :teeth:
I've been browsing the e-library for books to borrow. :upsidedow
Have you heard of BookBub? Free and super cheap books. I get an email daily, but rarely check it. But their books I've looked at on Amazon have good reviews.
Oh yes. ::yes:: I want to research the Laws of Attraction ... and what was that book Samuels had sent to her? :confused3

:rotfl:
PTSD for Dummies? ;)

Well, this is a shocker, court ending today.

I know the law provides for the defendant's right to a speedy trial, but what about the victiim's family? This is excrutiating.

JA has had these "headaches" when things are obviously not going well for her DT...I think her ability to force the Judge to call for a recess is her way of regaining control- IMO

I have had terrible migraines for 15+ years (the last one was 21 days) so I'm not trying to down play how awful a migraine can be....just saying if that's why court was adjourned today, I'm not buyin it.

Yes, and did you see her rush over to the door and say, "Can I go now?"

What happens if she has a headache every day? Do they postpone court indefinitely? (Because if I were on trial for my life, I think my head would be aching every day!)

This is such BS ... JA must have pulled the not-feeling-well card again - boo hoo  ... Does anyone think the DT is behind these shenanigans too? ... I think the jury has the right to know why court gets cancelled ... I know why they are not told the real reason, but I still think they should be since they are giving up their own time too ... So JA has been sick 2 - 3 times now? ... and Violet was sick 1 day ... Will this trial ever be over? ...

She knows the end is near, she is going to keep pulling this.
Her little cell is seeming like a long reality.

There's no reason she can't sit there with a headache.

How many of us continue with what has to be done in our day with headaches?

I taped all of the HLN shows to listen to the testimony this evening. Is it even worth watching, or was it essentially Wilma being snarky and unprofessional all day, in which case I will pass.

I need to put away my disguise now....:rotfl:

Sure sounded like Willie did to me ... and watch JA pick up her head ... I think she even smiled ... Willie really should look in the mirror ... I think JM should file a motion for defense misconduct - not to ask for a mistrial - but just for the judge to admonish Willie ... :)

It sounded that way to me too. I put my headphones on to listen and she did say it. It's quite suprising to me that JW would say that, and in open court. Shame on her, and so very unprofessional.

Judge didn't disclose the reason this time. These JA headaches are starting to get old. How about giving her a shot and she won't have headaches anymore? :rolleyes1
Of which kind of shot do you speak? ;)

I can remember when CA was sick one day and Judge Perry cut the day short and told the jury not to speculate on the reason. I think they have to be super careful not to prejudice the jury in any way. If the jury blames Jodi for this dragging on, then it's not a fair trial. I'd much rather she fry after a fair trial. ::yes::

My DH just got home and I played that "*****" clip for him and his eyes got wide and he said "WOW!" Definitely thinks that's what she said.

Maybe that should be the poll for this thread! Did Willie call DeMarte a "*****" or didn't she? :lmao:

Did anyone notice when the deputy was unlocking the door to let Jodi out of the courtroom he was holding a squirt bottle of yellow stuff? I wonder if it was a disinfectant and maybe she was throwing up?

This trial has gone on way too long and there are too many down days. It is cruel and unusual punishment for the family of Travis and the jury, who are putting their lives on hole.

I thought it was a bottle of Gatorade. :confused3

Completely agree with your control assessment. And, I too, have had migraines since I was 5 years old (sorry to say that means I've had them for more than a quarter century ) and I wouldn't downplay their pain, either. However, I also agree with you that it's probably bull that she has one, if that's the reason for the adjournment. And even if she is getting them this frequently, it seems like other accommodations could be made. While everyone has different symptoms and effects from them, as a general rule, light is the most bothersome of issues with them. If I were suffering from them this often in this type of situation, I would be able to participate via another room that was kept dark. Aren't they able to keep her in contact with her team through video hookup and some type of communication method? As someone else posted, if she's truly getting these headaches this often, this trial may never end if they keep postponing because of them.
