It was chilly and miserable yesterday so no yard work. And none done today because of nephew's ballgame this afternoon. Guess tomorrow, I need to get off lazy butt, get fuel, and get out and mow as the grass is high enough to start losing cats in the yard.

Lol wish it could work on dd. I did the usual when I have issues disconnect and reconnect the network reset modem and pc all the normal stuff, got it to work for about 2mins....least done with doc picking up rx now

Oh, I hate that stuff when the normal remedy doesn't work coz when you call Tech Support they always want you to do it again.

Tuck that daughter in bed and you get in front of the TV with your cell as soon as you can.

I'm really hoping for a verdict on Monday, I've got 10 acres to mow and during this season it keeps growing so I no sooner finish than I have to start again.

And speaking of hair, at least I won't need a haircut for months and months. My hairdresser had a stroke late last year, she then somewhat recovered and cut my hair perfectly back in Feb and I mean perfectly. Last week I came outta there looking like this: Really, that's the length of my hair.

Maybe you can get an early morning appointment next week, surely the court won't reconvene for the reading of the verdict before noon your time.

If my hair wasn't so crucial to how I look (like if I had a REALLY good face ), I'd go with that short! And let it go gray. DH has that distinguished man look...totally gray hair. Is that fair? I think not!

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to do the Keratin treatment again, or wait til just before our trip in the Fall. If I do it this month, I need about 4 hours to do it all...cut, color, Keratin, blow dry, so there's no way it would not disrupt my verdict watch. One more reason to resent them dragging on this trial!

I won't believe they are starting closing arguments until I see Juan walk up there with my own eyes.

I really thought they might sequester them for this part, but I guess they figure why do it now.

Now, lets see how many times Willie objects to what he is saying and asks to approach.

Me too! And I don't think it's that unusual to sequester for the deliberations, so I'm not sure why they're not. Why aren't Nurmi/Willie filing a motion for this? Unless they're hoping for more opportunities for appeal.

On HLN last night one of the guest defense lawyers said that yesterday's marathon opened up grounds for appeal...jury tired, etc. Yet, the DEFENSE dragged yesterday out.

There are so many "Mikes" among my relatives, there'd be a good chance there'd be a matchup with your wife, no matter what her name is.

Even if Travis was shot first and got up he would have been in pain anyway. He still has defensive wounds. So he would have still been trying to stop Jodi from stabbing him. He would have been in pain no matter which happened then at point, A deadman from the start would have not had any defensive wounds. So the jury has two ways to look at this.

You know, I gotta agree with you. There is so much evidence that proves how long Travis was alive, and how much he fought back. If the gunshot came first tho, it opens up the doubt about premeditation because it "could" be that Jodi's story is true. Except for the fact that her story is a lie. Surely that makes sense, yes?!

I agree, I am just saying the jury can look at it both ways. He had defensive wounds. Either way he was in pain , it was cruel. There is no self defense. Jodi admitted to the jurors she lied to everyone. No reason to believe anything she says , previous or now. If I was a juror and heard nothing else, I would say she lied,repeatedly. She is not abused. No record. You can take a picture of your finger at work, why would you do that? For evidence that something happened at work? But you wouldn't keep records of someone abusing you? Makes no sense.

You got to be f***ing kidding me! Why do these stupid judges always leave the door open for some of the most horrible criminals in the world! Please let this not matter in the end.
