Jodi Arias Trial Part 6, starting with JM Rebuttal April 16

Don't anyone google Medical Examiner mistakes, they don't exist. ;)

I'm gonna remain optimistic that the State will make a tight case for premeditation so we get a guilty of 1st degree murder verdict.

I hope we stay on schedule for any surrebuttal and closing arguments. And I hope Willmott is the one giving closing arguments not Nurmi. :faint:

According to WS, Juror #8 got into some legal trouble over the weekend and the Prosecutor asked for him to be dismissed.

And he wasn't even in court today according to a tweet.

It's important to note juror #8 was NOT in court today, his seat has been EMPTY ALL MORNING

Me too.

Now remember people ... next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday you need to do crockpot meals, take-out, pizza, freezer meals, leftovers ... whatevah ... but those are two days none of us wants to miss a second of, not after all this time.

Gaaawwd, then we have Jury Watch on HLN. :crazy2:

So what you're saying is, you knew it, but some did not? ;)

Who do you remind me of? :scratchinI agree. I watched a show where a man was shot twice in the head (not sure what type of gun), left for dead, and his two daughters were kidnapped. The father ended up on a snowmobile, racing to his brother's house to get help, and survived. You hear this stuff all the time. And IIRC, it wasn't all that clear in the beginning of the case, which is probably why JM called Dr Horn back again. (And somehow I also remember Dr Horn being better looking?? :confused3 Of course, years have passed since the trial started. ;))

Oh, I still find him incredibly good-looking, even without the beard. And I liked the blue shirt. I think his confidence and intelligence just make him extremely attractive. In fact, I just now was reading through all of the posts because I didn't want to miss a second of his screen time!

I am just getting online, can you guys help me, where do you think she had her hair colored from Blonde to Brown? at the nail salon? Did the State investigate those services I wonder? If not there, then where, an old boyfirend's house? Do we know?

Since the State rested, I guess we can assume that the Judge did end up granting DT's motion for the surrebuttal? ... Maybe the Judge compromised and just gave them one day to present it though ... But doesn't JM get a chance at a rebuttal to the surrebuttal? ...

I'm in for the Nail Salon, it doesn't take hours to do nails, but it does take a while to do blonde to dark brown, I know that for a fact. :rotfl:

And no, no witness from the Nail Salon called.

Yep, bet the Judge said you got x amount of hours and I would think the State can cross that witness with Defense ending, but no rebuttal for State then.

Hell yeah!!

Ew. Beer. {{{shudder}}} I like the pretty drinks. :)
If we were, she likely would have said, "See you next Wednesday, 9 a.m. sharp, on time, do not be late for fear of mass penalties." :rotfl:
:lmao: Hurry up and wait!
@BethKaras: The Alexanders just went into the witness room behind the courtroom. Most of them were crying, or appeared to be. #JodiArias
That poor family. :worried:

Which thread was it where I posted "Do not disturb" signs to be printed out? Guess I'll just have to tell DH NOT TO TALK TO ME. I have to babysit DGD that Friday, AND the following Monday...when the case most likely goes to the jury...because DD has finals. I hope I'm not in the car (2 hours each way) if a verdict comes in that day! I want to watch live. I think.

:thumbsup2 ;) Oh geez, yes, Willie, not Nurmi. Definitely Nurmi needs to reclinate ;) and smell his fingers. ::yes:: It's what he does best.

Oooohhh. Thanks for the info. Yikes.

I guess I will go and dye my hair. Poll to see how long it takes me? :rotfl:

With the countdown clock and all. :scared:

How long do we think it will take the jury reach their verdict? :scratchin: ...

All I know is I hope it's not May 7th because I have an appointment that I cannot cancel ... but with my luck, that will be the day ;) ...

Beth Karas says #8 was in court this morning. :confused3

I'm thinking he wasor else an additional empty seat would have been mentioned earlier.

With the endless analysis of what each minute that passes means, how it compares to other trials and the other trials' outcomes, what Jodi might be doing while she's waiting, how the attorneys appear (confident? not?) every time we see them, yada yada yada.

Oh, and let's not forget "Is this the day we'll get a verdict because all the jurors were dressed nicely today." :thumbsup2
