Why is him "insinuating himself" into women's lives when he's counseling them or being a friend, but everything Jodi did to him (and other exes) was because of how he controlled her? Maybe he really just was a good guy. She just assumes that he "used" his status in and knowledge of his religion to manipulate people, but she doesn't see Jodi as manipulative AT ALL? I've avoided the whole "man-hating" label that I know a lot of people have put on her, but when she's speaking like this, it really makes me wonder.

ALV is bad in more than one way. I truly think she believes TA was an abuser and JA was in a bind and had to act in self defense. If she has heard so many sad abusive stories which has jaded her into thinking any little error made by a man is a form of abuse, and now travels preaching the propaganda, she is doing a disservice to true abusive relationships. Her jaded license should be revoked

I NEVER EVER hit my mother as a teenager or as an adult and my teenage son has NEVER hit me ever. To ALV that is typical teenage stuff? BS! I have 7 siblings, not one of us ever raised a hand to our parents.

IMO, her hesitation before answering the question about knowing of any other cases where the abuse victim had no other recourse but murder was VERY TELLING. Apparently she had a case like that, so she should have said yes right away. Sounds to me like this is the first she's dealt with it and she was trying to figure out a way to spin a case to sound like Jodi isn't the only one she's encountered.
