Ok guys I am behind all of you as I am watching all today's testimony and pausing as my DS' GF's Gram died yesterday and I have been on the phone allot.




Soooooo I am in allot of pain as to something RYAN just said.

He said that JA goes FREE if she is NOT found guilty????

OMG, I thought this trial was to determine Death Penalty and if the Jury comes back with a NO, I thought she goes to jail for LIFE.

But NOOOO, Ryan says JA WALKS OUT THE DOOR.

Oh gawd, after CA, I was in sooooo much pain and shock how on earth will I handle JA walking out the door?

No, if the verdict is guilty then this jury moves to the penalty phase, not sure if that's going to be televised, but then they'll decide LWOP or death, but yes, if she's found not guilty, she walks. However AZ is a state (I think) that allows the jurors to consider lesser charges which includes murder 2, that's got a term of 12-25 that the judge decides. Jodi tried for a plea agreement to this, but the State refused it.

And so sorry for your GS and his GF's loss, hopefully she's got great memories.

She hasn't been convicted of anything yet. She could get 1st degree (DP or LWOP to be determined), 2nd degree (with time served, could get out in 10 years or so?), maybe other options (not sure if manslaughter is an option), and yes, possibly not guilty. Doubt she'd be found "not guilty" but stranger things have happened.

Oh...could be a hung jury and we could do this all over again.

She is basing that JA's dad abused her mom according to reports. Once again , never spoke with them.

I don't think she will walk. She may get LWOP, but walk , not worried about that. I am so sorry about your loss. Focus on that and not Jodi.

I was wondering about your avatar and should have picked up on the lucky cat. ..............sorrry, Willie was talking (I'm on HLN) and I got a cluster headache. So anywho, I learned about lucky cats at Mitsukoshi in Epcot, sadly, not Japan.

I LOVE Japan in Epcot!!! Eating and shopping at Mitsukoshi is awesome!

I have been to Epcot (and Disney World) more times then I can count and Japan in Epcot is always a highlight for me. I hope to someday go to Japan for real, it's my dream trip!

And IIRC, somone on HLN said that if she IS found guilty of 1st degree, the penalty phase is almost like a "mini trial" that could go 2 weeks, where they present their sides. This is never going to end. Altho, I hope we certainly hope she DOES get 1st degree. I'll "suffer" through the penalty phase.

OMG, please please please end this testimony today.

I agree. I don't think a man I know would report it.

I don't really believe he was afraid of her though - angry with her sometimes due to her actions but not really frightened of her. I think he thought she was nutsy kookoo, but he still let her in there at the end for a day of fun and games. If he had really been afraid of her, he wouldn't have done that.

And, yes, if I had a son, I would definitely tell him he'd better take that type of behavior seriously after this case.

I think the main reason he was not afraid of her fully is because she never trying to physically hard him until she killed him. So he had no reason to fear for his life.

Plus, he might of found her crazy, but he was physically attracted to Jodi, no man I know would turn down casual sex from someone they are attracted too, even if they think they are pretty crazy.

Joining late, as usual. Who is watching dr drew tonight? I want to see/hear what the lip reader has to say. Hopefully Jodi is easy to read. My kid always tries to mouth things to me but she looks like a bad Japanese movie where her mouth is still moving 3 minutes after the words come out.

I want a mic and a camera above Jodi. Shouldn't we be privy to what she's doing? Even if it doesn't come out right away, after her conviction they should release it.
