Was "It's okay" followed by "no jury is going to convict me"?

I don't think the jury is buying this garbage. This jury knows she lied. I would love to hear from AL how she thinks she is not lying?

I never said it was gonna be easy, but I think JM is doing a great job destroying the only defense this DT has and that is these experts. If you destroy a defense as well as JM in you should be able to score a win as long as the jury has the backbone to give the DP.

If JA does not get the DP I will see it as a lack of Backbone to sentence someone to death rather then a loss for JM and the State.

Sorry, but the fact is if the State doesn't win a conviction of premeditated murder in the 1st degree, then it's a loss to the State, that's just a fact, not my opinion.

Although you and I have disagreed on a thing or two I have to agree with you here.

If it's something they really want to consider, they probably could for slander of character. They would have to wait until after this trial is over though.

But how would Violet even know if there were a pattern of JA's lying because it seems to me that Violet was closed minded from the get go and believed everything that JA spewed at her and nothing else mattered to Violet ... Other than collecting a paycheck and writing a book maybe ... Just my opinion ...

I said DP, not murder of the 1st degree. They can still convict in murder of the first degree and give life in prison in instead of the death penalty.

You never have once told me how you would do anything different or better then JM either. Unless you can I don't see how you can be critical of a proven prosecutors methods. All anyone can do in this world is the best they can and I think he truly is doing his best.

That is exactly why she needs to admit that Jodi not only stood up to Travis, but she stood up to all the other ones as well. She left all those relationships and they dominated her and what not. So what was different with Travis.
The next question I would love to hear Juan ask, is Did all the other men in her life lie as well? And Jodi told the truth about them?

I did originally write sue for slander but somehow "slander" got deleted when I posted ... If I were TA's family, I think I would definitely consider it when the trial was over ...
