I can't wait! Canceling trips is hard. We've had to cancel/move twice since we went last March. By October, it will have been 18 months since our last trip and my DDs literally think they are DYING.

We want to go in October, but being the procrastinators we are, and some big things going on with DH's company, we got sidetracked. We're waitlisted for 10 days. Ugh. Did Food & Wine and the Halloween Party for the first time last year, and LOVED both. Plus, we want to get two trips out of our APs.

My kid and I last went in October 2010 so it's been a few years. I'm excited for the halloween party!

Luckily, no procrastination on my part. My parents took the whole family back in 2005 for my daughter's fifth birthday and my parents are paying for this trip because my niece will be 5 this year. My mom picked dates and paid for hotel/tickets/food and all that's left to do is get our flights. The halloween party and the Food and Wine fest were a big reason to go down when we do. Both are wonderful- hopefully I get to try a few more foods/beers/wines this time around since I will have some adult company as well.
