I bought a full head set one, I can't keep ear buds in my ears. Have you seen that magic bullet speaker? I wonder how good it works.?

Did you know that Jodi bartered the gas for a dvd player? That may be the one missing from her grandmothers home.

I bought a full headset also. I looked for wireless speakers since I blew the other ones but couldn't find any at either store I went to today.

I didn't know about the DVD/gas barter. Nothing surprises me with her anymore, just nothing.

I am sorry you are feeling bad, and I read you can't even taste food those colds are the worst. I once had one like that which affected my hearing and taste everything I heard was muffled and i could not taste anything for weeks.

I have a stupid question, in light of the fact that AL approached Sam, which is against Victims rights, I think she knew that. But I am wondering and call me out if you think it is far fetched here, but maybe she did it knowing that it could get it a mistrial, or get her out of there, meaning that her testimony is now worthless and can't be used.

I know Juan turned around when those friends of hers was laughing, and from what I understand he is going to take care of it. Also Det. Flores immediately went to Sam when she was done.

Good morning! How are you? I don't think it would cause a mistrial, but it may result in fines, jail and that deems her testimony void. I would love to have seen the look on the DT faces when she approached her. I believe they were all called into judges chambers after that. But this judge needs to get some order in this court room. The DT and their witness's are so far out of control.

There is a time and a place for every thing. I don't know if you saw the CA trial. But Jeff Ashton asked one of the witness's if he wrapped his pigs in a blanket. But it went with what he was experimenting with, which were pigs and blankets were used. If I am not mistaken even Perry laughed at that.

Mistrial no, other things yes. I know she shrugged her shoulders at her. So don't know what was said. She may have done it on her own to just get out of it.

You know, I just had a thought. Since ALV approached Samantha before JM got to her, maybe she was thinking they would not let her continue and she wouldn't have to face JM. She has already faced JM during the pedo papers hearing and apparently, he tore into her. It has been reported she was nervous about testifying again. I bet she thought she wouldn't have to face JM but could still get false testimony about Travis out there. If she is not allowed to continue, the damage is already done. Jury can disregard but they still heard her say those things whether they believe it or not.

I saw this on youtube, when JM was questioning Darryl.
She supposedly left his house that morning then went back with the remote.
But Darryl couldn't explain how she walked off with the remote.
So yep, it was a switch.
I'm sure Darryl threw that away real fast after he found out.

I've been thinking the same as you all ... Did Violet intentionally speak to Sam knowing it was a big no-no hoping to either cause a mistrial or to have her testimony thrown out? ... (I'm sure she would still collect her paycheck , maybe even a bonus) ... Did the DT put her up to it? ... (I wouldn't put anything past them) ... I don't think JM will ask for a mistrial due to this, however, I think he may ask for her testimony to be thrown out, if anything ... Or maybe for the judge to hold her in contempt of court or for her to be admonished? ... However, I don't think I would put it past the DT to try and spin it all and ask for a mistrial themselves either ... They will probably try to blame Sam ...

They do realize that this is a murder trial, don't they? ... And their show of affection to each other was displayed inside the actual courtroom, not outside the court building, so couldn't this be deemed as official misconduct? ... Who knows who saw this and if the jury will find out, KWIM? ... I'm just trying to say that the DT are such hypocrites ... They do the same or more of the things that they accuse and blame others of doing ... Maybe they should look in the mirror ...

It must have been in his deposition. He didn't know all about the theft of the Grandparents house. He must have heard all about it before the trial and so he played dumb about it at the trial when Juan was questioning him. Juan knows exactly where that remote is from.

Whoever posted it said Juan couldn't speculate but he could.
And it all makes sense now.

I am afraid this is going to lead to a definite appeal for the murderer.
I agree, put nothing past this defense team.
If her testimony is thrown out, BAM new trial after this verdict.

Thanks for all the well wishes, I'm up and down with this stuff, just working against having a relapse like I've commonly experienced in the past with these damn colds. I'm too old for this kinda stuff.

Wow, I have spent the last few hours reading the crazy stuff out there to include a supposed petition to have Laviolette's testimony "banned" from the trial. Now I'll be the first one to testify the power of social media is phenomenal and I've witnessed first hand and even been involved in some things that can be accomplished in a blitz, but dang, some of the mob mentality is just plain insane.

What I'd really like to see is a juxtaposition of the evidence that's been presented in court versus all the "evidence" that's not been presented in court for whatever reason given to mock juries and record the deliberations of each jury for comparison noting what evidence was speculation, conjecture, etc.

Honestly, the most disheartening thing for me is seeing how many people have absolutely no idea how the courts and justice system works to include Laviolette if she did in fact approach the Alexander family, totally inappropriate.

I was thinking it would be a mistrial, since ALV is the DT's only DV witness (which is the cornerstone of the defense) ... there wouldn't be enough time for them to prep another DV witness, and that would lead to a mistrial since the DT couldn't adequately present the defense without a DV expert.

Or am I thinking completely wrong?
