Laviolette's DV model and testimony explains the relationship between Travis and Jodi, it doesn't justify it. Everything else is just the interpretative twists of the Defense, the State and the media to include the mob mentality. Social Science classes across the country are having a field day with this trial. No telling what law schools are learning from this circus.

In my opinion ALV basically sold her soul for $250-$300 per hour. I can't see any other motivation for her to maintain such bias, to the point of fantasy, in assessing this case. It's sad because in the big scheme of things she really didn't make that much. $250 x 44hrs = $11,000 for assessing JA and $300 x 35hrs = $10,500 (I'm estimating $300 x 35hrs of testimony). So for $21,500, she's essentially ruined her credibility for speaking engagements, future books sales and any further testimony for hire. She can't look at anyone with a straight face now and claim she did it for DA victims all over the world. Am I missing something here?

Don't forget all the hours she spent in interviews with the prosecution and the DT, and all tne hours spent reading the journals and texts ,her research, and the time it took her to put it all together and prepare her case !

Hey guys, what was ALV talking about when she would reference her CV?? Just am not aware what that meant. Some journal or something she writes in?

Great post, UR!

My son grads from law school in May and yes they are all very aware of it but for the 3L's, they have been consumed with finishing everything up so not so much that group BUT 1L's and 2L's its probably a HOT TOPIC in the classroom. :thumbsup2

Curriculum Vitae - a much more in-depth version of (or replacement for) a resume. :goodvibes

Oh how wonderful, congratulations and best of luck to him!! :goodvibes

Having several friends who have survived that first year when it's really cutthroat, I'd say he's already overcome the hardest part. ::yes::

Okay, the motion does not mean mistrial. They have to file certain things. It covers the area of if she gets death she can't hold them liable they were not effective council. It covers CYA.

They need to blame someone for the tapes and it means Juan. He is so used to these things when you see him panick , then you can panick.

Yup! She sure tried to make it for more of Travis , which back fired. I don't think AL left happy yesterday. No pay for her testimony. I am glad the judge was firm with her. I just can't believe they used the word circus in a legal document to explain things.

Well IMHO, ALV's testimony coupled with all of us finding out that JA is now 'tweeting' giving NG/HLN the middle finger, calling JM, a short man, to selling her artwork, to DT and ALV having lunch and dinner together out in public, ALV throwing smiles and winks to JA from the stand, GAWD, to me has turned all this into a 'circus'. :headache: :headache: :headache:

There are petitions out there to get JA to stop tweeting. :thumbsup2

Very very sad for the Alexander's.

WAIT!! Did they say NO PAY for her testimony???? I missed that!

Yes. And THIS is the most important thing right now if you ask me.

ALV isn't being paid for her testimony? How did that come about - what did I miss?

After the jury left, judge told AL to be back Monday or Tuesday , her choice as she is subpoenaed for her personal testimony. aL tried to tell the judge she had tests, judge said she did not want to hear personal issues. AL tried again and the judge got annoyed and told her to be there Monday at 9:30. I am assuming it is her approaching Sam.

The judge put AL in her place.

I understand where the DT would like to have someone that knew TA intmately say something damaging toward TA. ALV eluded a couple of times while doing background research that the Hughes has provided damaging evidence via old texts between Hughes/TA. I went back and viewed some Chris Hughes testimony on YT today. Nurmeister was questioning Chris Hughes and ask Chris to silently read the text Chris sent to TA. The text stating Chris didn't like how TA was treating JA. Has this text ever been released or do we as a general public know what it said? Chris Hughes was very defensive while testifying and it gave clear impression he regretted ever sending that text since JA killed his good friend. I was just wondering is ALV and Nirmeister blew the context out of proportion or was Chris seeing something in TA he felt warranted a firm text.

WOW!

I am just here reading about the latest motion from the buffoons.

They have a lot of nerve to pull this now.
The 2 of them should be made to pay every penny back to the state if they feel the are unqualified.

I saw the Toady show this morning and one of the monsters drawing was sold for $3,000.00. Talk about a travesty of justice. She has not been convicted so she is within the law to do this.

Sickening.

Maybe you meant to say "Travisty" of justice

I went back and read the motion and that's not what it says, it's more along the lines that they're kept from providing a defense to their client due to the actions of the State like posing for pictures and releasing information to the media for publication. Course, they know the media has obtained a lot of that info thru the FOIA. Same old stuff just another layer and motion.

House guests are gone so I am getting caught up.

It's my understanding that Wong is testifying because of the motion for mistrial based upon prosecutorial misconduct. I believe this will be a none issue, but we will find out on Monday.

ALV is coming back on Tuesday and I don't believe it's good for ALV. I think JM may be looking to impeach ALV. Tuesday should be very, very interesting.

It's my understanding that the DT is finished with their witness list, or is there an update and they have more witnesses?

I"m hoping we start state's rebuttal case on Monday.
