They're definitely trying to make her look more innocent, same way CA's DT did. They dress her in simple clothes, put some glasses on her, pull her hair back. They've also been lowering JA's chair to be several inches below Wilma's, even though in reality JA is taller than Wilma is.

I don't know how true this is, but at some point AL turned and looked at the jury and said jerk. If any of you notice let the rest of us know.

Great catch! She did! She said it under her breath but the mic picked it up. Notice how JM looks at the jury as he heads to the bench....then she says "jerk".

Ok, how disrespectful if she did say that. It has been a punchy kinda day. I don't think they can fix any damage. I do feel for Willie. She was loosing it so bad. I couldn't hold it even that long.

Ya know Snuz I really think at this point they know... I mean really KNOW ... that the jury didn't buy any of it. I think they started getting a clue when Samuels was on the stand, but with ALV, their supposed "star" witness, everything kind of turned to crap for them. Even JA looked defeated today, slouchy and just tired of it all.

Maybe they should put her in pigtails...

You are right. There number is up. I don't know if this JW's first murder case or not. If so , you learn real quick. I think she has had allot to deal with the last few days , especially with the jury questions and learning that her client has a twitter account, and basically slander Juan and Nancy Grace. And then Donavan chose to go on t.v.. So the whole world knows what your client is doing. I think she had to tell Jodi to remove or who knows what.

I have never seen a DT go down quite as easily as this.

Just thought I'd drop in and say hi! :goodvibes

I made it to my appointment in Ft Worth and back home by 11:00AM so I caught all of the testimony, but due to the procedure I had wasn't able to read or post on the thread, just caught up reading in the last few minutes.

I'm anxious to hear the hearing on "the issue with Laviolette" and the other hearing with Grace Wong. The testimony today was just more of the same we've been hearing for the last two weeks and quite frankly predictable since Jodi took the stand. :rotfl:

================================

Hey pigletgirl, hurry up and have that baby so we can add him or her to our birthday group in these threads! party:

Hey Remus! I was wondering where you were today. I thought you had said you had an appointment of sorts. Glad you were able to catch the testimony.

I thought the Judge said there were additional questions in the jury basket and she collected those. Have they been asked yet? If not, I would say that is why ALV has to be there for additional testimony.

LOL, Jen made great time coming back from Ft Worth and we walked in the back door right at 11:00. By the time I got situated with my laptop on AZCentral I still had a few minutes to spare since court never starts on time.

Hope you have a great weekend and all's well with everyone. :goodvibes

I think she got all the juror questions in and answered, the reason Laviolette has to appear again is due to an ïssue with her (Laviolette)," probably her approaching Travis' family during testimony.

This is what I was thinking it was as well, because the judge asked today if there were any more juror questions at all and none were presented.

I think that judge was determined to be done with all of Laviolette's testimony to the jury TODAY, good start to the weekend! :rotfl:

I was re-reading the recent motion for mistrial. In the motion it states:
This State of affairs has placed counsel for Ms. Arias in a position that they cannot fulfill the duties they owe Ms. Arias, pursuant Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure, Rule 6.8.

I was curious to see what Rule 6.8 states and in summary; it states the qualifications the attorneys must have to represent a defendant in a Capital Case. Nurmi and Wilma are basically stating they don't have the experience or expertise to defend JA.
