Jodi Arias Trial Part 4, starting with redirect of "expert" Dr Samuels, March 19

I was watching HLN earlier in the evening a show hosted by Ryan Smith and hit the record button and then went about making dinner, feeding the dog etc.. I am watching what I recorded right now and they are playing back, uncut, the calls between Det Flores and Jodi plus the interrogation tapes as well. It is interesting because in his initial call to Jodi for info he said he thought it was more than one person who did it. In the second call on June 25th he said the camera was damaged. In the beginning of the interrogation, she actually said that she was on memorial websites and wrote a "Dear Travis" like letter outlining her memories of him and pictures etc but then she took the post down. She then went on to say that she had more pictures of him that she can't get at right now that maybe his family would want, she is unbelievable.
She also went on to try and say where she went on her road trip and said she had no sense of direction, did not have GPS like she is used to having, she had no idea how close she was to Travis' and then said she was thinking she may go to Death Valley..

Was Jodi supposed to go to Cancun with Travis? Sources tell*HLN senior producer Selin Darkalstanian says Jodi was booked on that now infamous Cancun trip until Travis changed his mind and decided he wanted to take Mimi Hall instead.

This is the first time we've heard that Travis considered taking Jodi on the Mexican getaway. Could this last-minute change have sent Jodi into a murderous rage?

I also saw on The State vs. Jodi Arias Facebook page that JA is seeking a protection order against the person who said "wish she was dead" in court yesterday ... I just hope her DT can't use this now to ask for a mistrial or to request a closed court or to no longer allow cameras in the courtroom, etc ... I really don't know if any of this can even be legally done, but I wouldnt be surprised if the DT tried

Oh wow! That's the first I've heard that she was supposed to go originally. Can you say jealousy = motive?

I hope they don't take the cameras out - we're all too invested now. What would we do with ourselves 4 days a week?

I love sports, except basketball (unless I'm at the game), baseball is tied with football. Back in November my dad invited me to a Packers game and I told him no because I had no desire to sit and freeze. My kid went, and it was almost 60 that day. *sigh* It's my goal to get to a Packer game and as many Brewers games as I can get to...plus I'll throw in a Cubs game because in my hundreds of times in Chicago, have never seen Wrigley Field!

Anyway, this relates to Jodi in that her head looks like a ball and she needs to have it kicked it as hard as possible.

Seriously, wouldn't have been really easy to track down flight information? Maybe see if Jodi had ever posessed an airline ticket. There are some things in this trial that don't add up but when it all comes down to it, Jodi has shown her jealousy and anger over things...including her curt attitude and demeanor when Mimi is brought up. Why is so much stuff just coming to light now? It's not like this is a recent incident that they're still investigating, they have it all...hopefully JM will bring it all up in closing (if he's allowed to)

Forgot to add about courtroom cameras. I wouldn't think they could pull cameras mid-trial (I bet UR knows). And how do "they" determine which cases should be televised live? Or was it because TRU tv had originally picked it up as they have for many trials and then somebody ruined our lives by getting rid of the live court sessions, so HLN figured they'd yank up some ratings?

Yup ... And not only motive but I think it also = premeditation ... I wonder if JM knew about this? ... And if so, why he didn't bring it up when she was on the stand? ... Or maybe he's waiting for his rebuttal? ... I wonder if there are any travel documents that can really prove that she was booked and then was replaced with Mimi? ... If there are, I think they would definitely be the smoking gun ...

One would think that someone would have checked for airline tickets, hotel reservations, etc. that may have originally been in JA's name and then changed to Mimi's ... So if what this "source" is saying is true, I hope JM gets to use the info ... Got to remember that sometimes not everything is allowed to be used during trial for one reason or another ...

Did any of you see the CA trial? They had two outbursts in the court room, Perry dealt with them right there and then. One woman yelled she is guilty, she got sent to jail and pay a fine. The second one got caught flipping off the prosecutor, he also got dealt with right there. He was sent to jail for a week. And I know there was a third guy. This is why some of us really like Perry. He was no nonsense. This judge should have dealt with her right away.

Update .., Now they are saying on Facebook that the Motion for Protective Order that was filed by the DT has to do with preventing some sensitive information from being presented in court ... One person said it has to do with the document that JM was questioning Sammy about at the end of day on Thursday (the one that the DT was having a fit about and then court was recessed for the day) ... But another person said that the motion has to do with preventing the disclosure of the detailed defense billing records that they have to submit to be compensated by the state ... So I don't really know what the protective order is about but I don't think it's against the woman who said "wanted her dead" which was originally thought ... I guess we will find out Monday if it's really important ...
