Hello all...been out of the loop for two weeks! Saw the juror number five situation. Any other breaking news? What happened after the expert. I'm actually shocked this hasn't gone to the jury yet or has it??

That doesn't mean she would not do it out of revenge for dismissing her. Not saying she would, but we don't know her thoughts.

Well, if they do have her on, I hope they let her talk and not hog the air time with their assumptions, that might be a good interview.

Now I'm hoping someone reputable has her on, kinda interested in what she has to say at this point.

Pardon my ignorance, but how would it hurt the case? Or is it because Nurmi may be watching and try to call a mistrial again because if #5 knows anything about other jurors, it meant they were all talking?

Beth Karas said that Travis' sisters came out of chambers earlier today very upset, and when Jodi came out, she looked at her two rows of supporters and smiled, and Nurmi was smiling from ear to ear (which feels very much like creepy Baez, Cheney Mason, and their crew celebrating after the CA verdict).

So, it appears that the DT might be feeling "a win". If that's coming from the fact that they got rid of a juror who was AGAINST Jodi, that really shouldn't make it feel like a win for the DT, since any or all of the other jurors could be feeling the same thing. If they got the feeling that this juror was FOR Jodi, they might feel that she's indicative of what the other jurors are feeling, or at least that there's reasonable doubt.

I wonder if something else transpired while they were in chambers, unrelated to Juror #5. Or if it was just tough on Travis' family to be in the same room as her. Or maybe the prosecution wanted to keep Juror #5, and the defense wanted to get rid of her, and ultimately, the DT won this one decision.

There's a lot more to this than we know. And it's killing me! I wonder if she'll talk, or if she's too embarrassed.

That could be the case, especially if they are all in agreement she should get the death penalty. Nurmi watches this stuff like a hawk. I would hate to see that happen. I want to hear her story, but after the verdict has been handed down. Your not ignorant..

I didn't even think about that. The judge should have gagged her till we had a verdict.

She is a marriage counselor, they were not married, in fact she should be telling Jodi to move on from this and how this is not good for her.

If all those jurors are in agreement about anything related to the case, that means they'd have 18 jurors talking to each other about the case, and there should be a mistrial. I would hope they (judge and attorneys) discussed this thoroughly, spoke to all the other jurors, and have determined that it IS ok that this juror did not need a gag order.

My only concern would be that the other jurors would be so curious and tempted to see her being interviewed.
