Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

Who made the mention of the time at the Salt Lake City gas station and the early morning hours?

#JodiArias is in the courtroom with a light blue shirt on. We await the judge and jury, should begin momentarily

Here is the latest update.
They said on Twitter that there's a lot of wearing green today. St Patricks Day (early)?

Here I am typing away on my laptop, not realizing the livefeed has started on my desktop with the sound off.

Quite frankly, the wasted time is beyond ridiculous. We're 45 minutes late and still haven't started! Why don't they have all of this stuff taken care of beforehand? It's not like they're starting court at 7am and it would be too ridiculously early. GAH

I was the one who said I had read it over on web sleuths. They said that the hours between 1:00 am and 6:00 am, they only sell gas. She bought the gas around 4:00 am in SLC.

What else is odd about the receipt from WalMart is they always draw a line through the item that is returned, or they always do at any WalMart I have been to. Did she not use the receipt to return the gas can? If she didn't use the receipt then she should have gotten a gift card, not cash.

Walmart's website states that a return can be done without a receipt and receive up to $25 in cash back, anything over 25 would be in the form of a gift card. Regardless of having a receipt or not, the store would still have to scan the gas can and have it on file for inventory purposes. Perhaps she didn't use her receipt if she was thinking about leaving tracks? Who knows why she does what she does? :confused3

I don't understand why all the "legalities" aren't handled before 10:00 AM AZ time. I'm fairly certain the judge isn't rolling into her office at 9:45 and I think it's really unfair to the jurors who are VOLUTEERING their time to be there, sacrificing jobs, family, etc. Knowing that this trial would take forever, why are they not working longer hours (other than the feeding of JA issue which to me could be easily resolved with a brown bag lunch & dinner) and working on Fridays & maybe even a Saturday here and there. I would be a little miffed if I were a juror.

OK, I didn't know abut the $25 cash back. I know they would have receipt of the return. Maybe someone yelled at her for taking their parking spot so the fog made her forget the receipt for the return ;)

Good point! You get the Sleuth of the Day Award!
Seriously? A side-bar already? What have they been discussing all this time that they couldn't discuss this, also? :headache:
Anyone watching just this trial would think the rules of Arizona courts are: "everyone files into court, and then there's a sidebar, and then..."
So it was Nurmi that filed a motion to compel the records from the State about Tesoro and WalMArt.
Interesting.
