Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

UGH! Sit around for 2 days in anticipation of today and my DD informs me last night that she has a UTI. So, off to the doctor today. She has tests this morning and wants an appt around 11am. Hoping to get her in and out quickly.

Happy Wednesday!

I hope she feels better. Those infections are the worst.

Excited. DGD is here today so it might be a bit of a challenge. Good thing she has her own DVD player!!! :cool1:

I have a ton of errands to do and some housecleaning. But I am excited to report I am up early and already started so I can be done by 1 my time.

I am hoping that if there are any issues they have been able to get them over with before today. Lets get this thing rolling. Its like a trainwreck, glued to the tv to see what she is going to say next.

I don't think there will ever be another trial or defendant quite like this one.

Get the defense, Mr, Juanderful, and the judge out of bed and demand them to start now..:rolleyes1

Good morning, everyone!

I'm getting ready to watch InSession - anyone else watching? I'm sure Vinnie will be fired up this morning being as we've had such a long break from testimony. :hyper:

Morning! I turned it on and will catch as much as possible. My kid has a delayed start today so here's hoping she sleeps until right before we have to leave otherwise she may interrupt me! She's a brooding 12 year old who likes to be alone...except when I'm watching anything about the trial, then she wants to be my best friend.

Can't sleep. Watching live tv of a chimney. If it's not one thing I find fascinating, it's another.

My luck, I'll sleep through this and miss some good stuff at 10:00 am :upsidedow

Pizzie, I always read your name as PizzaCutter...sorry if I end up calling you that!!

Are you watching for the new pope? It's the only thing I could think of with the watching of a chimney. There was some historical religious person on one of the shows who said there is no real favorite and it could be many days before they find one but will try to pick one before Easter. If you aren't talking about the "Pope Smoke", then ignore me completely.

:scared1: I can't imagine! Sometimes I'm glad I'm here alone all day with some of the testimony there has been during this trial.

Cannot believe this. I started reading this morning where I left off on page 117, quoting along the way, and my quotes won't show up. Aaaarrggghhh! So I'll try to remember everything. Yeah, right. But you all had some good posts!

Burning evidence in the desert...wouldn't that be like announcing she was out there? Seems too risky to get caught. However, reading that post and about showering made me wonder...when and where DID she shower?? She supposedly washed her hands with the water (COSCO water, to be specific ;)). Ever get blood on your hands and around your fingernails? You need a nail brush! With all the stabbing she did, there must've been blood all over her. I've wondered if she showered IN Travis' shower. :crazy2:

Watching InSession (delayed) with Squirmy Nurmi talking about the camera. I think it was purely accidental that the camera ended up in the washing machine; I think it got tangled up in the towels while she was cleaning up. OR...she thought she was smarter than the police and they wouldn't make a connection to the camera and go further to do what they had to to get the pictures.

That was a good point someone (wish it had quoted  ) made about the possibility that the gas station only sold gas between those early morning hours, and not stuff from the convenience store, so she must've bought gas. Hope that's true!

Where(town)/when did she buy the gas can? Was she already on the road? Because she would've had to go right back in to return it if she did it the same day. Or go get something to eat, then go return it. Because if she was on the road to her destination, she'd buy what she needed and keep driving. :confused3

Yes, the smilies keep moving around. Drives me crazy. Certain ones seem to stay pretty close to the same location, like this one :confused3 which is good because I often am :confused3.

Those videos are good! Love Nancy Grace video. LOL And that whole thing about Jodi setting up a youtube account. She's diabolical.

momrek06, that's something about your son's connection to Dr Petit. That has to be one of the worst crimes I've ever heard of. You wondered how he was...a while back, it was reported that he remarried and that his former FIL gave a toast, I think it was, at the wedding. How sad and wonderful at the same time. It's hard to imagine moving on after what he endured, and how awesome for his 1st wife's family to support him like that.

I was just thinking about our new vocabularies, and the words and phrases that have become part of our every day lives from this trial. Yesterday, DH got home from work and our big ferocious (he thinks) German Shepherd was at the door waiting for him, but I wouldn't open the door to let him out, and he was so excited and anxious to get to the love of his life DH :lovestruc that he was shaking like a chihuahua! And funny thing...before this trial, I didn't even know how to SPELL chihuahua! It's been an education. LOL

If I think of anything else  I'll post it. Damn quoting!

That made me LOL! I know you mean for the pope, but it just struck me funny to watch live TV of a chimney. I check in on that every so often, but I think I'll wait till they ring the bells to start watching for the outcome.

AH! Remembered something else. About Dr Phil yesterday, with the stalker ex-girlfriend. No mention of the Jodi Arias case, and honestly, this girl was very very sweet and likable, and her big issue was fear of abandonment (mother walked out when she was two, and some other stuff). Honestly, I wanted to be her mom. :) Very not the Jodi Arias type. And of course, Dr Phil's new book, published by his son (have you heard?! :lmao:), is going to help her.

Phil has a new book???? Published by his SON??? No JOKE???? :rotfl2:

Just a reminder:
NOTE TO ALL OF US WHO ARE TIME ZONE CHALLENGED:

ARIZONA DOESN'T CHANGE THEIR TIME.

AFTER THE TIME CHANGE, THERE WILL BE A THREE HOUR TIME DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EST AND AZ/JODI TIME AND THE WEST COAST WILL BE ON THE SAME TIME AS AZ/JODI TIME.

YESSSS!!! I am so not kidding! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I used to watch The Doctors a long time ago, and then Dr Phil's son Jay had on his Playboy posing wife and triplet sisters talking about trying to get pregnant at the same time, and they were SO STOOPIT and clueless, I couldn't stand it. It had already annoyed the heck out of me how Phil and his plastic wife went on and on (overkill) with how thrilled they were that their son found such a wonderful woman to marry! Before that, Dr Phil would have been counseling women who felt the need to get publicly naked.
