Jodi Arias Trial Part 3, STILL in redirect of Jodi, Mar 5

I saw those, yes she lived in a cramped space. I wonder how her mom and dad lived? They owned a restaurant, so I am sure they probably had a nice home. I am sure she felt like a millionaire being with Travis. That may also be some of the anger she felt knowing that none of that was going to be any of hers. And the thought of some else having it with Travis may have been to much also.

Yes, I totally agree with you. ::yes::

How is your weather down there? It is sunny here.

So I was looking at all the CRIME SCENE photos again in the FIRST POST and I saw where JA was living at her Grandmother's. Those conditions look to be of someone that is very very poor. And yet JA testified on the stand that HER car - Infinity was a much better car than Travis' BMW … ?

How does she live in those conditions and own an Infinity?

I cannot imagine what she most of thought of Travis' beautiful 4500 sq foot home.

Also, did JA drive her Infinity to the car rental place ? How did she get there ?

I don't exactly remember who it was, but she did get a ride and was dropped off, picked up the car and then went to her friend's house for a nap before taking off again. She got a ride back as well

I have been wondering a lot about JA's financial situation myself. The breast enhancement surgery, the car she drove, etc. - and yet she always seemed to jump from crappy job to crappy job? How does one pay for all those things (I wouldn't know about the surgery, but I've heard it can be crazy expensive.)? :confused3 She talks about lending Travis money and him owing her, but I'm wondering how many people have supported her over the years. :scratchin

Jodi was asked how she could afford the enhancement and she said she got a good deal and only paid $300 so it wasn't something that would break the bank. Me thinks she probably slept with people to get her "good deals"

You'll have to let me know how you like Oz, I saw it this morning and wasn't all that impressed. It was good in parts but the first half was SO slow (my sister thought that the first half went really quickly and the "battle" was really slow). I don't know, definitely not my favorite- but I liked how some things were explained. I also liked China Town

Anyway, I read on another site that Jodi even called the Pros attny by his first name at some point too. Very disrespectful. I will never forget going to traffic court when I was 18 and having the judge tell me to throw away my gum its not allowed in his courtroom! To me, the courtroom is such a dignified place, respectful.
I heard that and couldn't believe it, but Jodi is pretty ballsy.
And her demeanor changes. When the attnys go for side bar, and they do every question it seems, you can see her watch Pros attny and just sit there, her eyes moving back and forth. She is thinking and thinking hard. Definitely not a person afraid.

When her attorneys are at sidebar, so is the prosecutor. I think she's just staring straight ahead.
No testimony today - they're back Wednesday at 10 a.m. their time. :goodvibes
NOTE TO ALL OF US WHO ARE TIME ZONE CHALLENGED:

ARIZONA DOESN'T CHANGE THEIR TIME.

AFTER THE TIME CHANGE TONIGHT, THERE WILL BE A THREE HOUR TIME DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EST AND AZ/JODI TIME AND THE WEST COAST WILL BE ON THE SAME TIME AS AZ/JODI TIME. (RIGHT? lol)
Here is some more to add to 1.) I am surprised that no one mentioned she was not in a big fog to turn on the air conditioning , so by placing the body in the shower and rinsing off everything it would knock allot of blood smell and locking the door would keep the air flow colder in there, so it would preserve him as long as possible. I was looking up the weather back then the temps would have been 94 degrees and up.
Good points!
My personal opinion is that Travis was supposed to die easily in the shower. Murdering him was messier than she thought and took longer to clean up. The roommate was due home very soon, so I imagine she tried a few things and then just got out of there.
:thumbsup2
Last night I was watching E Entertainment and Hollywood Access and they briefly discussed the JA case.

They showed the CHICKEN DANCE clip and then proceeded to state that this video was taken a few months before JA killed him.

NO, I do not believe that is accurate.

That chicken dance video was taken (from what I have read) basically the FIRST day they MET.

Does anyone KNOW????
They met at the PPL convention, didn't they? That doesn't look like a convention event. Looks more like one of those Mormon social events they've talked about.

Her parents owned several restaurants over a period of time. I think the last one was when she was in HS, but I could be wrong. But a restaurant, or several, doesn't = money. I'm sure she got hooked on EVERYTHING Travis had to offer...a vast circle of friends, prestige in the PPL co and the church, wanting marriage and family (but not with her), nice house, car, travel. If she wasn't going to have it with Travis, no one would.

Did Jodi say $300 or did JM? Because the number HAS TO BE more like $3000, which itself would be a deal. Trust me; just sayin'. ;)

Do you know the defense attorney Mark Eiglarsh who is on HLN shows sometimes? He was on Dr Drew Thursday and talked about Jodi's "fog" and it was hilarious! I tried to find a video of it but couldn't. Will keep looking.

Glad for this info because I wouldn't have thought of this.

I was thinking $300 sounded awfully cheap, also, but I guess it depends upon
who you know (and what you're doing with them). :rolleyes1

I've sure missed chatting with you all! :flower3:

I have no idea what implants themselves cost (but they're not cheap), then there's the doctor, the surgery facility, nursing care, anesthesiologist, followup care, etc., altho maybe not all surgeries have all those costs. I googled it and saw between $5,000 and $10,000. Maybe slimy Gus Searcy helped. :crazy2:

Thank you for mentioning the time, it did not even on dawn on me. I don't have to be up so early. I just meant that I am sure her family may have had a decent home, not a mansion:rotfl: . But not like grandma's

That's the ballpark I was thinking in, also - I figured at least $5,000. Gus Searcy <shudder> Just the thought of that man creeps me out. :scared:

You know, thinking about Jodi calling the attorney by their first name is uncalled for. I hope her attorney's correct that matter. She is also pattering terms as well. I forgot what it was, but she used a word that Juan uses in law terms.

I think she is getting to comfortable with all of this.

Been without the internet since yesterday... Just got back up and running.

Sad that there is no trial tomorrow. Maybe I can clean....:rotfl2:

Implants are pricey, considering pre and post-op appointments and then the surgery itself and the cost of supplies, it's in the thousands. Jodi said that she got implants around the same time as the Elders started visiting her and she cut off sex with Darryl (think that's who she was with at the time) and said they were $300. Maybe she used that number because there was some financial trouble at that time and she didn't want Darryl to know she spent so much?

Alright, for a few of us, what is on the lunch menu for Weds?? :rotfl2:

Hmmm ... :scratchin PB&J would be easy, or a salad. It's dinner I always worry about! Lunch is just for me, dinner I have to plan for us both.

I've been thinking of mopping the kitchen and bathroom floor - tasks I've been putting off for far too long. :headache:
