I really like it that the jurors can ask questions. We weren't allowed to do that for the murder trial I was on. It was all I could do not to talk with the prosecutor after the trial to ask him why certain things weren't brought out in the trial. It ended up making the difference between first and second degree murder. But then again, I'm nosy like that! LOL!!!

Well, if it's going to be another hour plus before she takes the stand, I guess I had better go out and start shoveling the 14" of snow that has fallen here. And I can't get my my snow blower to start - ugh.

From my understanding, after the juror questions, both Nurmi and Martinez will have the opportunity to question Arias one more time.

izzy you must live not far from where we used to live (moved just over a year ago closer in). We had a nice view of the river from our house on the mountain but days like today are part of why we are so happy we don't live up there any more (though we have friends that still do).

The judge has looked annoyed at the defense since I started to watch this trial. I noticed though that when JM talks she listens very intently and doesn't make the faces but he probably makes his point quickly instead of Nurmi who goes on and on and on and on.

Another hour?

They will lunch before they start court. It starts start time of 1:00 PM in Phoenix (3:00 PM EST) so right now it's going on noon in AZ, so they will wrap this stuff up, break to eat and then bring in the jury. I thought they told the jury 1:00 yesterday and since they get to go home, I'm assuming they haven't been sitting around the courthouse all day waiting....

Because if one got lost/misplaced and it ended up in the wrong hands.....

That's how I understand it too and that could mean a few more days of testimony from her in addition to the jury questions.

Yes. As to why they don't, maybe its so the defense can't rehearse the answers with JA.

I hope the judges asks in random order as well. Throw her off.

It's hard to glean anything from the argument over jurors' questions. The attorneys and judge are referring to the questions by number, not content. The questions that survive this hearing will be asked of Arias at 3:00 pm ET (1:00 pm in Phoenix).

I live near Waynesboro. Where did you live?

I've had so many sinus and ear infections this winter that one doctor has told me to move to Florida and another one said I should move to Arizona! I wish!
