There really is no reason for him to go that far. She was adamant in her testimony that she returned it to the same store on the same day, and he knows she didn't. In addition, he's got, it appears, proof that she used that 3rd gas can 3 days later, after the murder. She can deny it all she wants. If she says it was at another Walmart, it just goes to show that she's lying.I wonder if he is looking at the other walmarts around on her road trip.
Like one of the commentators (maybe Joey Jackson) said about Jodi's uncorroborated statements...how many times is the jury expected to give her the benefit of the doubt that what she's saying is true?
