From BK's FB page. Tons and tons of her 'friends' are all raging over on her FB page about the closing down of Tru Tv. AND I don't blame them. :sad2:

We were told nothing and then on Friday IS says their goodbyes and told by Monday (4th) all this goes into effect.

That is just wrong for all the long time viewers of Tru (Court) Tv.

Many viewers have questions and comments about In Session's new programming, effective March 4. Please direct them to insession.viewercomments@turner.com.

FYI: In Session changes its schedule tomorrow, March 4, from SIX hours a day to TWO, 9 - 11 AM EST.

Not sure if this has been posted on this thread yet; haven't been around for at least several pages. Just saw it on FB and confirmed it on my TV schedule.

Which means there is going to be very little live coverage and analysis for the remainder of this trial and future trials. :( I hated when In Session coverage would end at 3 PM and I'd have to switch over to HLN, because they clog up the live trial stuff with other news in addition to commercials disrupting everything.

It already annoyed me that when In Session ended at 3 PM, TruTV would switch over to crappy programming; now they're filling 4 more hours with that stuff.

So, what about Vinnie Politan, Mike Brooks, Joey Jackson, Jingasaurus, Beth Karas, Christi Paul, etc?? Who gets those 2 hours? I know some or all of them also do HLN, but are they going to squeeze them all in there for more time? I remember at times during this trial when Vinnie Politan's HLN show Making it in America would stop talking about the trial and start talking about some guy owning a diner or something. I know there's livestreaming, which I always have up on the computer, but before testimony would start each day, and during sidebars, lunch and other breaks, I loved the analysis from my In Session peoples...even Jingasaurus, who annoys the heck out of me. *sigh* I hate change.

And while I'm ranting and raving :) ...I hated when they changed the programming years ago, when they went from CourtTV to TruTV, and programming went from ending at, I think, 5 PM, to the current 3 PM. Don't remember the exact lineup, but Catherine Crier lost her show, and I really liked her. Also, Vinnie got the boot from Bloom & Politan, and yada yada yada, I didn't like it. *Insert foot stomping smiley here." ::yes::

So there.

Well quite frankly, I think he was pretty scummy in his own right with leading everyone to believe he was being stalked by a woman he was playing like a fiddle while portraying himself as a good Mormon man (and no, I don't think he was even trying as evidenced by his last play date with Jodi), but the theft of the .25 from Jodi's grandparents and death of Travis involving a .25 that can't be found is just too coincidental.

IDK how I *honestly* feel about TA. I don't think he deserves to be put on a pedestal for sure. He definitely has his issues and I definitely wish he were here to give his side. I think we have a situation where two people with big issues collided. Let's face it, TA has a dysfunctional background.

There probably is culpability on both parts for keeping the relationship going and all that. It definitely was NOT a healthy relationship. And IMHO, some of the texts TA send to JA, make him look pretty bad, threatening to tell her family and friends her secrets etc.

In the end it was a gruesome murder. To gruesome to really feel any pity on my part for JA. Definitely overkill.

Agreed.

Hey Kelly...I think your comment about T being 30 and the inexperienced is so on point...IMHO....
.I think she really had one over on him, we know that she introduced quite a number of things to him...and this is what he got caught up in...it seemed to me that it all , their relationship as a whole was all about the intimate experiences and nothing more at all....he was growing spiritually and financially and emotionally and she was a leech....trying to grab on and be taken along on his ride...by whatever means she could...and sex was the lure for him..and he liked it.....the thing that he got caught up in...I believe he was just taken in by her and when he tried to ultimately extricate himself, she showed up again....tried to lure him in, in the guise of just ...friends having relations/sex and then he likely made it very clear there would be no more contact and she already planned the attack and went thru with it.
Its all so sad...............

She knew sex was the ace in the hole (no pun intended) to keep him around. Seriously, I do think we have a guy here with limited to no sexual experience at 30 years old other than this grinding stuff being batted around.

And I do think, without a doubt, she was in it for the big payday. The house, the marriage, the money. I just don't get buy the madly in love stuff.

Yes, I also agree, he made it clear it was friends with benefits. She accepted that only on the surface thinking it would change eventually when he realized she was the one he loved. I mean, she changed her religion in a matter of 6 weeks, she moved to Mesa AFTER the breakup, she wiggled her way into cleaning his house so she says for 200 a month. She was all in I think.

Ya, Mare, in two words that sums this all up IT SUCKS! I am so pissed off. To do this when TRU probably has probably the HIGHEST viewer ship NOW with the JA trial going on. :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache:

To what promote its other programming … are you kidding me those other shows if any of you have had to suffer through their commericals from time to time look absolutely DUMB DUMB DUMB and STUPID.

I know NO ONE that watches TRU tv after 3pm EVER.

I do think some of the texts make him look pretty bad.... But he did not deserve what he got.

I don't think Travis was an angel in all of this by any means. I think they were 2 consenting adults who chose to have consensual sex.
But as far as the texts he sent to JA about threatening to tell her friends and family about her secrets. I believe those text were pertaining to the fact that she slashed his tires twice and also slashed one of his friends tires as well. Also that she was sneaking into his home when he wasn't there and getting into his Facebook and bank accounts. She was stalking him for sure.
But, you see how she showed up at his house at 4am and he welcomed her right in, so he wasn't putting a stop to the booty calls.

Agree and agree!

I always thought of InSession and TruTV as synonymous, and all that other garbage programming afterwards as filler. And I wondered what the people on InSession thought about being associated with crappy, low class, low quality shows. Now InSession is barely a blip in the programming...TruTV is almost ALL about that other garbage. It really stinks.

YEs, this is all true. The consenting adult part is one of the things people need to remember.
I think she was stalking, and that he welcomed her back in....

Exactly. She can't use the sex as a form of abuse either. The sex part of this whole trial, imho, just was for poisoning the water. They were consenting adults and she herself admitted that 'most of the time' she enjoyed it.

YEs. Exactly. I think the sex was brought into play (as it were) to try and convince everyone that Travis FORCED her to do those things. Of course that didn't hold water.

I am interested as well as knowing what the heck she did that caused such angry texts. I had thought the tire slashing stuff happened before she left Mesa, so I am not sure what they were about. Has it been reported somewhere what the reason behind the texts were?

I still am not sure that he even knew that she was there. We have pictures starting sometime around 1. The roommate thought he saw TA around 11:30 but he said Thursday, but probably was Wed. JA said she parked her car in the driveway, but roommate said it wasn't. So the roommates version is on 6/4/2008 he saw TA at 11:30 as he was leaving. Last call on Travis's phone was to the Hughes guy at around noon or 1230. Pictures (by timestamp) were starting sometime around 1:30. Jodi testified they slept until 1 or so and played around, took pics etc.

Who to believe? She says she got there at 4am and he was happy to see her. Or the roommate who says he saw him alone at 11:30 and he either spoke or text with the Hughes guy around 12.

My head literally spins with confusion! :headache:

Just going to quote myself when we hit a new page for the next couple of days so everyone gets the word about InSession's time change. Have I mentioned how much this pisses me off? ;)

WHERE was the car?
I agree. Makes my head spin too.

She had a white rental car, nothing anyone would recognize as hers so the possibility it was parked somewhere watching makes sense. Noone would realize it. She just waited for the roommate to leave.

And I should probably not say 'probably' Wed as obviously from pictures it Travis was not alive after 5 or so on 6/4/08. So it would HAVE to be Wed.

She was a stalker for sure.

Kelly

I hate the change personally. I could turn on the trail and still get some housework done while I was listening :)

Now, when I have the day off to watch live I will have to be chained to live streaming on the puter...such is the life. I will just have to live with doing no housework for a while.

I like Beth K a lot too.

I like Beth too. I don't do much when I am watching the trial anyway.... (only on break!) so that wouldn't change for me! LOL

I thought it was parked around the corner, but I'm not sure why I think that. :confused3 lol

Before this, I could turn on the TVs around the house and keep watching while I did stuff. You're right, if we're going to watch, we're tied to a computer. I guess I'll livestream on my laptop and take it with me. It does, however, free up Fridays.

Catherine Crier, now she was a great legal commentator!

I'm just surprised Direct/Dish/whatever doesn't have a decent channel to broadcast live trials. Then again, CourtTV went to TruTV and The Learning Channel went to Honey Boo Boo.
