I would call the Red Cross or email them to see who traditionally coordinates employment in huge disaster areas. I am sure some type of efforts were done after Hurricane Andrew as it affected such a huge area of land. It may not be the red cross but they may know who does this job. If they can't help you, just wait and see if you get a shelter in your area. I know we have several shelters in central and north Alabama and they are suppose to be bringing 1,000 to a closed base in our area. Not sure when this will happen but hopefully soon. If you don't find a source, let me know and I will try to track down someone when they get those folks over here. The problem will be they probably won't have any transportation as I believe these will be people from New Orleans that they are evac'ing now.
