Joann's sale on Mickey fleece

howdy! Went to Joann's Fabrics here in Massachusetts yesterday (2/19) and found two great Mickey polor fleece fabrics on sale for 8.99 a yard (down from 11.99). One has a background of light blue and dark blue swirls, and has full-length Mickey figures scattered on it. The other has squares of pink, yellow, blue, green, and some squares have the "hello kitty" style Disney babies (Mickey, Minnie, Bambi, Chip, Dale, etc. etc.) with the big heads. I'm planning on doing some sewing today!

I am so jealous! The U.S. always seems to have better quality fabrics for less money and all the cool stuff! I would love to find Mickey head fabric. I guess that would mean I would have to spend a little less time at WDW when we come down and hunt in the local fabric shops!

They sold the Mickey head fabric a couple of years ago. I bought about 15 yards of it and made coats for myself and daughters. I have seen it occasionally on e-bay, so perhaps you could just keep looking for it. Good luck!

Thanks! I know to have success searching online I have to keep loooking. The problem is that shipping and customs fees over the border usually make the purchase waaayyyy too much! it's good to know what is out there - incentive to keep looking!
