It's finally here another year of waiting over,today is the day we drive to the airport.
Pete goes to work and the boys and I wait for my Dad to arrive as he is cat and house siting for us.
My Dad lives in leeds and is carer for my nan and auntie so he is having a well deserved break.
Dad arrives and unpacks our lounge is now full of suitcases.
pete comes home around lunch time and we take my dad out for lunch pizza hut buffet, dad takes boys home while pete and I pop to asda for few last minute essentials. We run through check list with dad show him how everything works give him keys and emergany telephone numbers.
set off for gatwick about 4pm get stuck in traffic nobody minds too much as we are all singing along to a disney cd.
Mobile rings and it is Pete's sister sue who flew out two days ahead of us ringing to warn us she has had lots of problems with the villa management company, and is in a different villa from the one she booked.
Sue saysthat the management company have promised to give us a villa in Emerald island as this is what we had booked months earlier. We are now a little bit nervous about what we will find when we arrive
so decide to ring travel agent to double check they promise us everthing is fine and we will get the villa we have been allocated so we relax a bit.
Finally make it to virgin twighlight check in. With the bags gone we hang around the airport for half an hour and head to the holiday inn check in after much disscusion about who wants what we finally order room service and settle down to watch tv and all fall asleep
