Jingle Bell Jingle BAM Show at DHS with Dessert Party Details POST 8

Subbing to this thread in the hopes that I will be checking the disboards when they announce showtimes and open up the dessert party booking for the week of December 17-23. So annoying that they can't just release them all when they announced the show! It's like they do things before they're entirely ready to handle them.

Really annoying that they won't let us book the party for the rest of December. We're hoping for Dec. 15th.

Sandy Clause would be amazing!! My significant other is a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan and the line, to meet him, is always long at the VMCP. We don't like to use up our precious Christmas Party time waiting in line when we could be hopping on all of the rides in seconds. Plus we both agree that his mask needs to be adjusted to look less like an alien. However, his presence at the JBJB party would help ease the pain of a ROL-Less trip. Goofy would be great as well! We have zero interest in Lanny and Wayne but that won't stop us from attending the party.

As we continue to wait for the December times to be released I believe that we can assume that Saturday 12/17 we will have JBJB at 6:45pm with Fantasmic! at 7pm. They just adjusted that day to close at 7pm from the 8pm closing time they had 2 days ago to coincide with the strong rumor of there being a Star Wars event that night. that starts at 8pm

It didn't even occur to me that they would still have the JBJB dessert party on the 17th. I've been so focused on the hope of a SW event that day that I forgot that other things will still be going on. LOL

This is unfortunately the day I am hoping to book...I have some back ups, but this is my first choice. I didn't think about a Star Wars thing happening that night, since Rogue One opens on the 16th!

Yeah, I know. I try to keep up with park hours, but didn't notice DHS closing at 7 until I made FPs on Monday. Was just commenting on the potential Star Wars thing, because it's the perfect explanation and makes sense, and it didn't occur to me at all...I was too busy obsessing over date expansion for JBJB party, lol!!

I am on the struggle bus... We definitely want to do the dessert party, but I'm not sure how we will be able to make this happen. We have ADRs for just about every evening except for AK (MK and Epcot). I know no one knows at this point, but looks like there is a chance that ROL might finally be up by mid Dec. (Our dates are 12/11-12/17) If there is no ROL, we can totally do it on our AK day - just hop over in the evening. I wonder if there is a chance for a later show since crowds will be heavier? If there is a later show, we can hop after our dinners basically any night. I am not giving up F! this year to see JBJB - I've missed out on F! the last 2 trips in a row. Anyone think there is a chance of a later show? Or possibly even 2?

We had the same problem as we had our dinners all booked and we decided to drop 50s PTC for the dessert party. I'm pretty sure we won't be able to find it on the 2 nights we didn't have a hard to get ADR so we'll just have to do 50s if we ever come back. This trip has been so much harder with FP+ and changing calendar times and last minute changes that I'm hoping when we get there it will be worth it. Otherwise our DL trip 2 years ago was fun and the littles would love to go back to Carsland.

The first night is always a trial and error for the cast setting up. I've gone to a lot of first nights where they didn't know what they were doing and others where they were on top of everything. I wouldn't stress too much about it, all the elements will be there just that it might be a bit disorganized. If you can move it and it's not too much of a headache to move things around you can

Thank you so much for letting us know! Just made a reservation. What's funny is I have been stalking Club Villain for months. Checking every day. Just yesterday I resigned in the fact that they weren't going to offer it past Halloween and took it off my list of things to check. Then today I see your post. Great timing!

First the CM told me that the dessert party ends on 12/10, but we can still see the show after that. I said we were really hoping to have a reserved spot (and the desserts). Then she replied, "well we weren't told that it would be continuing after the 10th, but you can keep checking." So, basically I didn't find out anything concrete or new.

Nice to know about Club Villain but that's a little steep for us. Particularly on top of the VMCP and the JBJB Dessert party. Definitely a backup plan.

I booked Club Villian for 12/2 @ 8:15pm! It's just DH and I, so we'll be seated with 2 strangers. Maybe they'll be two awesome DISers!
