I have had bouts of wishing it wouldn't be up and running due to the last minute complications and my own emotional inability to deal with feeling like I am missing out. lol.Well shucks. Looks like we may have to miss this one unless ROL isn't a go... Is it bad that I'm kind of hoping ROL isn't going to be up and running so we can see this?
they haven't announced those times yet, she is going 12/11 - 12/17. I thought she meant a second F! which is possible, I agree they won't run the fireworks twice, they never do that (except extremely rare occasions like NYE). but with 2 F! shows that allows you to do both in one night. one will be close to JBJB and the other further away.

I am glad to hear it is unlikely to change now that it is announced. I have made my plans around those hours including doubling up on some nighttime entertainment (specifically Illuminations after HS stuff) which won't be possible if they are going off at the same time

Now everyone thinks that the main entrance to GMR is the one in the center where you go in now using your fp. The main entrance is on the right side where the standby enters.So I'm thinking they will drop all the chains on the right side use that plus this area inside
Because they are still giving out fp for it then they will likely need to use their fp entrance plus standby through the same entrance

I just remember when I was a teen and going the wait was so long, you spent time in that lobby area... there are ruby slippers I think? and it looks like scarlet ohara's dress shows up in one of your pics. IMO it's a bit like launch bay in atmosphere with the memorabilia stuff around. It's such a huge and elegant space, perfect for a dessert party! and completely underutilized now that it is no longer the main headliner at HS with the other stuff that's been added, and also the FP+ management of queues. I am trying to keep expectations in check but there is so much possibility for awesomeness here
maybe. it has been SO long since I've been there for enough time to pay attention. Last time I did go on the ride but we FPed it and zipped through to the queue with the movie reel playing and didn't even stop in the outside room.you're talking about this space
I don't think this will be used for the party, as you need this space to enter through the fp side. They have changed the exhibit so now they have other things, Star Trek stuff and I forget what the other movie exhibit is. They also have some screens giving you details on the movies.

Positively not there before. I have my operational calendar print out for that week and there is only 1, at 7:30. So happens I was just changing the park hours on it. All but Epcot got extended, MK significantly. Good news/bad news I guess. Good news more hours/bad news they think it's going to be crowded enough to extend them to midnight the whole week
