We will be there next late November, can anyone that saw the show tell me if it was good? We are thinking of skipping HS but if the show is good we will go see it. Thanks

Late November 2017? There's no indication this exact show will return. It was a surprise when it was announced last year. Hope that isn't too disappointing...

OP: it was a cute holiday show, the laser, snoap, projections were great. The fireworks portion was very small. I would not go to DHS only for that but if you combine it with some rides and shows then it's worth it
FYI: videos do not do justice to any of the projection shows at DHS, they are much much better than what you see on video

(I don't doubt they bring back a holiday show, although if it's exactly the same JBJB hard to call. Just like it wouldn't shock me to see some R1 projections worked into Galactic Spectacular eventually.)

I really hope they get rid of the long Nightmare Before Christmas, include What's this song but that's it, and they shortened the love sequence

We were able to do both the Star Wars and Jingla Bam shows in November. Loved Star Wars and Jingle Bam was not very good in comparison. I would rather do Fantasmic.

First, I never went to see it so don't use this for go or not. I found it boring enough on film from others that I didn't even bother.


I think it will return, they made new animation just for this and I can't see them only using it 1 season. I hope they learned that wasn't enough fireworks and will be increasing it in the future, it needs to live up to the name. but.. the dual fireworks was interesting so maybe not.

Well! I stand corrected! I am a little surprised by this, it was a cute show, but I thought it needed a little more "umpf!" Maybe they'll tweak it a bit for this year...I agree that the lasers and snoap were lots of fun!

I was also really disappointed that they switched it out because I was looking forward to seeing the SW fireworks. I'm going again next year mid-Nov and hope they don't switch the shows until after Thanksgiving!

Well, seeing how they start Christmas parties a week after Halloween, I don't see that happening...but here's hoping for you!!

I loved JBJB. I liked SW, too, and it made me want to watch the films.
I also like jelly.

Never saw the SW show so I can't compare. I thought the JB show was great. We always get park hoppers so going to HS just to see the show was no big deal for us. However, if you don't have park hoppers I don't think there is enough to do at HS to spend the day just to see the show.

I wouldn't go to DHS just for jingle bam. It was cute, but very underwhelming.

We also really enjoyed JBJB, did the party on Thanksgiving. I didn't have high hopes based on reviews I'd read beforehand but I thought it was cute. When it was over my DH surprised me by saying he loved it lol, and both DS's 11 & 14 also said they liked it and were glad we saw it.
We always go to HS so didn't go just for that. Also no SW fans here so I didn't care at all that the SW show wasn't happening and was glad for something holiday-related added.
