Where do you find Jimmy the Cricket at WDW? He is my all time favorite along with Mickey of course and I would love to see him. We were there in March 06 but I only saw him at the end of the night parade at MK on a float. I so want to see him and we are going back 12/7 to 12/11,

Thanks

I would love to know this too...:)

He is one of those very rare characters appearances.

Good luck - hope you see him.

We have seen him twice. Once on Earth Day at the Contemporary. And once during the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot.

The Conservation Station in Animal Kingdom has been a recent place for Jiminy to appear.

I know not this Jimmy The Cricket you speak of, is he friends with Tommy The Hat?

Sounds like gangsters LOL! Sorry, not meaning to be mean spirited but that kind of made me smile. WDW's sole cricket character is Jiminy Cricket! :yay:

PS. Jimmy Cricket is a prolific comedian! I just googled him and there is a nice article on wikipedia.

Yep, we saw Jiminy at Conservation Station! My 'baby' is now bigger than Jiminy!

I saw Jiminy at Conservation Station when I was there in October. I've heard he's there pretty regularly now.

We have seen him on several occasions. Once behind the Christmas shop in MK. At Conservation Station at AK and in the World Showcase at Epcot. He is quite rate so we count ourselves lucky to have seen Jiminy more than once:)

OH JOY OF JOYS......i can't even express to all of you how happy this info makes me.

i have been searching for him on every one of our trips (about 10 between on and offsites) for the last 7 years and have never been successful. i even have a laminated copy of a pic i had taken of him and i on my first ever WDW trip over 25 years ago.

everybody has that 1 special character or icon that when they first lay eyes on, it makes them get a little tear in their eye and think fondly of their childhood....Jiminy is that character for me. He is the key element in all of my childhood warm and fuzzies related to WDW.

i will be sure to call the character hotline when i get onsite the next time to find out when/where i can possibly catch him.

poor CM who happens to be Jiminy that day....i will be a sobbing mess.

this is me skipping thru the rest of my day now:woohoo: :yay: .....thanks for making a Jiminy Junkie very happy.

He was there in December too - we were totally caught off guard and SOOO excited because he's one of the "elusive" ones - ditto for Daisy Duck.. (If you're interested, we finally snagged Daisy Duck across from the Fantasia area in MGM and were able to get a FABULOUS close-up photo of her with my DGD..):thumbsup2

Cool thank you all so much.

Hey, I just found this cool site that shows meets and greets from 2003 to 2007.

http://home.att.net/~disneysue/characters/wdw/disneycharacters.html

Check it out if you are looking for a particular character.

Thanks again to all

Thanks!!!! That's my family's site!! :) All we want to do is find characters when we are at Disney! I am in the midst of trying to update everything  but Jiminy's page is good! Definitely look in Conservation Station at AK, many people here have finally found him there! He's a very popular character! :)

Thanks for all the assistance.

HugsForEeyore! Your site has become my 5 year old dd's favorite web site and practically part of her daily routine. I found it when I saw it this past fall when I was "lurking" on the Dis and showed her to prepare her for what we might see when we take the girls in September. She has to go through every name! Thanks for your work on that site....you're bring smiles to our family!

I think you have to ask a CM and they can call to find out.
