Jiko - What are my chances?

We're checking in to AKL on 8/26. Since we're not going to a park that day I want to make a reservation at Jiko for dinner that evening. Since it looks like we're going to overlap free dining, what are my chances? We'll be driving up from Miami post-cruise so I don't mind planning my day to eat a bit earlier or a bit later in the evening. Ideally, I'd like to get something between 6-7 pm.

Jiko you should have no problem. I've never been unable to get in.

Never had a problem getting an ADR at Jiko. Never had a problem getting the time that I want even when there's been a free dining promotion at the time as long as you don't leave it until the last minute to make a booking.

Jiko is not the easiest place to get to if not staying at AKLodges.

Fewer walk-ups increases your chances.

Even if you can't get the time you want keep checking. People cancel about 24 hrs in advance of their reservation.
