We currently have ADR's at Jiko next week, but was thinking of switching to Artist Point instead (we have an ADR at Boma the day before and I wouldn't mind a change of scenery).

Which would you choose? We both have found something on the menu that appeals to us both. The kids will be going to the Kids Club at either WL or AKL.

Opinions (on both the restaurants and/or the kids club at each place)?

Thanks!

They are both really good but if you are already eating at Boma, then I'd go with Artist Point for something a little different.

Artist point for sure :thumbsup2
Excellent restaurant....The salmon is especially delicious, as is the bison.

If the menus are equal (both have dishes that appeal to both of you) I'd go for Jiko. I've really enjoyed my meals at Artist Point and you can't go wrong there, but Jiko is just outstanding on another level. I think it's far and away a superior restaurant in just about every regard.

I've been to both places now and Jiko was a much better meal. AP wasn't bad...Jiko was just really outstanding.

Jiko always has meat and fish (and vegetarian) options.

Overall we prefer Jiko, and it has a lot more food for pescatarians...though, as you stated you already have menu items picked out at both, so if that is not a factor......choose by where you want to go....and if you've already "done" AKL, go to WL.

I do have to say again though, I would choose Jiko over AP any day. It's a lot more romantic too, if you're doing a night without the kids. :thumbsup2
