I've been pricing up the next trip (projected Nov 07-sad uh?) and although I've always been a Virgin in the past  I feel they're going off the boil a little. So I've been pricing up some of the others. Not too impressed with either Thomas Cook or Thomson-making you pay for a meal on a 9 hr flight, whats that about? Jetsave impressed me more-has anyone been with them and if so, what do you think? I'm a non-driver so I need a transfer and I'm mean so I don't want to pay for it!

Jetsave are part of the same company as Thomson Holidays but a run as a seperate product. We are using them for this trip as they are normally one of the cheapest for Virgin flights, on this occassion quite a bit cheaper than Virgin themselves. They give either a 10% or 15% discount (can't remember exactly how much) if you book direct with them.

Thanks Helen-wonder why they fly with Virgin to Orlando then-Thomson use Sanford.

I've had a look at the Jetsave website and (unless I am looking in the wrong places) I can't see prices. It appears you have to ring for everything ... or am I wrong?

Hi

We booked our Jetsave holiday through First Choice and they price matched it to the lowest deal we got elsewhere. The flights are with Virgin and we got transfers included too

Jetsave use both Thomson charters to Sanford and Virgin flights into Orlando International. Before they were bought over they were a USA specialist and I suppose thats what Thomson were looking to buy rather than just incorporating them into the Thomson Brochures. An awful lot of the smaller tour operators are actually owned by the big companies these days.

We have used them in the past & are using them for our trip this year,at the time we booked Jetsave's child price was £99 & Virgin's was £359! Also Jetsave were doing the Hotel we wanted & at the time Virgin weren't.Only down side..no flights from Scotland! So off to Manchester again!
SD :firefight

We're going with Jetsave next week, they were over £300 quid cheaper than Virgin Holidays for the same flights!

You should bear in mind though that you can't use the nifty "manage your flights" section on-line, or on-line check-in which I was a little disappointed with. However, I don't think these features are woth £300 odd!!

Also, it takes hours every time you want to phone them, although when you do get through they are always very helpful. I booked directly with them on the phone and saved a further £80 ish.

.

JoeSam, YOU CAN!!! just ring Virgin Atlantic, give them your name and flight number and they will give you the Virgin booking reference rather than the Jetsave reference. We have used it with no problem for both my booking and my parents booking and will be checking in online tomorrow :cheer2:

we used jetsave last year, they were very good and as we stayed onsite we used the magical express transfer service.

Hi - Are Jetsave now pricing 2007 holidays then?

I've just received a broucher this morning. It only goes up to Dec 06, so the answer is no.

I have priced up this year's holiday and compared the price. I booked our flights car and accomodation seperately, and I saved 45.00 compared to jet save. So get those fingers going and you may be able to get a better deal.
