I want to know how much candy you had and how fast it was gone.

Hey Kris, we had 1,000 pieces and had just a handful left. The kids were great this year. Polite and mannerly and usually only took 1 even when we told them thay could have more. We were letting them get their own. Some took 2. The 18 year olds took handfuls.

Not as much as I thought it would. Just a few sites left out of 400 this morning with one camper next to us that left right after ToT last night Must have been the neighbors

I was very surprised with the lack of traffic coming into the Fort Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And with the over booking there were several open sites last night. The Port Orleans offer must have been appealing to more than I thought.

We arrived safe and sound yesterday to the Fort. Tiny ( our 5th wheel) other than being very dirty, both inside and out, was no worse for wear after a 20 month storage. Tom and I took a boat ride across to Magic Kingdom, bought a Starbucks drink, and walked around a little. Then it was off to Publix for a quick grocery run.
Now that we are pre-senior citizens, we went to bed early. Early morning flights are hard on the body. As always we slept well nestled in the peace and quiet on the 1700 loop.
Today is another Magic Kingdom day.

What are your thoughts on Enchantment? (the new MK show)

Seeing Wishes and then HEA has been an arrival day tradition. I've read mixed reviews on the new show. I will definitely see it in January. Not sure if I should make it a 1st night thing.

Hey Jim. I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard some of the same mixed reviews and admittedly was a little skeptical going in. It was much better than expected. My advice would be to be a little closer to the castle as the projections seemed a little harder to see from where we were which was center of Main St. directly between Casey's and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. There are projections on the upper floors of the Main St buisnesses for just a short time towards the end, but if you stand off center of the Castle, you should be able to see them on one side without issue.

We went to Disney Springs today for lunch at The Polite Pig and a desert at Gideon's.
I had Low and slow brisket sandwich with burnt ends chili.


Teresa had Turkey with crispy brussel sprouts and Cole slaw.


Mindy and Mike had a Sampler platter for 2. Brisket, cheese sausage, smoked chicken and pulled pork. Crispy brussel sprouts and sweet potato tots.


Excellent. Would go back tomorrow.

We then made our way to Gideon's for a cookie. We had the chocolate chip, toffee and pistachio with a side of marshmallow butter cream dipping icing. Really good and really rich.....especially when slathered with the butter cream icing.

Well today is our last day at WDW and it has rained steadily since about 2am. My daughter in law noticed something interesting at our site. Can you see it?
