Been waiting years for Jetblue to fly out of MHT, looks like it is official after not hearing anything for quite a while.
Hope it works out!

Very excited but it does look like for May ( my trip ) there was only one flight out at 7PMish landing in Orlando around 10:30. Not ideal but way better then leaving from Boston for me. Not sure if one flight per day will be the norm.
:flower:

I got the email from JetBlue and the prices got me excited. I couldn’t look past February from the link in the email, but under $150 round trip is unheard of at Logan! I suspect they’re only introductory rates though.

We’re about equal distance to both MHT and BOS, but have only flown out of BOS so far because options. It would be nice to have an alternative, especially if it’s also cheaper.

I wouldn't get too excited, there is only going to be one daily flight to Orlando and flights to fort meyers/fort lauderdale are seasonal.
It's going to be treated the same as Providence, with a few select flights time(s). Logan will still be the cheapest option with the most times available.

You’re right. I checked February vacation week and the price from MHT was similar to BOS with only one direct flight per day. The email I got with the amazing prices definitely was just a marketing special. Looks like we’ll stick with BOS.

We are north of MHT so last trip, we took Jetblue BOS to MCO and sat nearly two hours in traffic to get to the airport.
The cost of parking at MHT vs BOS also makes it appealing to us as well as short walk from the garage to the terminal.
Also just heard that SW is going to assigned seating in the future so options for flying out of MHT are looking up!

While I know there’s some risks with one-flight-per-day routes, SYR->MCO direct via JetBlue is our favourite way to go. Direct flight can’t be beat compared to doubling the worst parts of flying: takeoff, landing, taxiing, and boarding. Also I don’t know about MHT but the SYR flight leaves early morning, and the return from MCO leaves in the evening, so you’re really able to maximize your vacation!

Unfortunately not the case for MHT - MCO. Inbound flight leaves at 7 pm and outbound flight leaves at 8 am.

I read that Jetblue is adding a second nonstop flight per day out of SYR.

But JetBlue is notorious for changing the departure time on those nonstops. The early September nonstops now leave at 2:30.

Avelo Airlines will be starting twice weekly flights between MHT and Lakeland FL (LAL) on 10/25. There's only one a day (arriving & departing) which are on Monday and Friday, which may not be convenient for everyone, but might work for some. Did a quick check and pricing is currently $62 one way.

The airport is around 50 miles from WDW and there are two car rental agencies (Avis & Budget) on property. The airport is no frills and does not have a traditional jetway. They have "stairs" that they roll out to the plane and you walk outside between the terminal and the plane.
