Just wanted to chime in and let you know if you have a Capital One card and book via their portal they monitor prices for 10 days after your trip and will refund up to $50 back to you if it goes down during those 10 days. Nice little perk.

That's interesting. I do have a Capital One card, but it's just the basic card, i.e., I don't pay a fee for it. This is definitely worth looking into.

ETA: I realized that I always use my JetBlue cc to book JB flights, since I think it's worth double the points.

I believe the Even More Space charges do not go into your travel bank. They amount is returned to the original form of payment.

You know on second thought I think I was confusing it with the taxes and fees on award flights. Thanks for the correction.

Thanks, everyone. I'm still tracking the flights and holding my breath! Nothing's really changed in a week and there are still plenty of seats on both the inbound and outbound flights.

Update: Today both the outbound and inbound flights went down to a price not that much more than they were on June 12th, so I booked them. I hate gambling but I love a bargain (or at least not having to pay lots) and today's price seems like a bargain to me after seeing the price unmoving for a month.

Also, I had points to book the inbound flight, so that made me feel like 1/2 of the trip was practically free.
