Hi all  Not flying till sept. but have a few questions. I printed our conf. and I am planning to check in online. Will I be able to print our boarding passes then? If I can do that we usually use the skycap at curbside check-in. So will I only have to give them our luggage and thats it, then go on to the gate? Do I need to check in with anyone else? Thanks for the help. I cant wait till sept.

If you have your boarding pass the sky cap will check your luggage then proceed to security. No need to check in again. If you're planning on using curbside they can also print out your boarding pass one less thing to remember before you leave home.

Yes, if you use Curbside, I suggest just waiting to get your boarding pass until you get to the airport. The Curbside will grab your luggage, check it and print your boarding pass all in one shot. Then you proceed directly through security and to your ramp. Also, for those who pack heavy, Curbside usually doesn't give you a hard time about overweight luggage.

That definitely sounds like the easiest way to do it, however my hubby doesn't like to use curbside. He said that is usually the way the luggage is lost. He used to work for US Air and I guess alot of the lost luggage came from the skycaps. Not sure if this has changed in the last few years. At the time he worked for them, the skycaps did not work for that specific airlines. Anyone out there know if that has changed?

I havent had a problem with curbside (cross fingers). Im not sure about US Airways. Like I said, I have yet to have a problem with Northwest, Delta, American or Spirit (the airlines I always fly) so I will keep on curbsiding!
