I'm not sure if anyone out there can answer this or not and I'm sure I am stressing over nothing but our flight is booked for the end of July. As of now, the website shows roughly half the seats are taken. Will the airline cancel the flight if it isn't close to 100% full?

Common airline question, but no. That plane needs to be at your destination airport not long after you arrive to fly passengers from there to another location. My best jetBlue flight was exactly 1/3 full.

Nope. The aircraft still needs to get to the destination airport to do other flights. There have been a few Southwest flights over the years that went out with only one passenger.

All Jet Blue will do is charge more for the seats which still exists on your flight.

The earlier you book your Jet Blue flight the better price you will get. ;)
