JetBlue flight price went down! Refund???

Of course, we booked last week, but now the flight price has dropped $30 per ticket. I called JetBlue, and they said they'd honor the new price, but we'd get credit for the difference. Has anyone had any luck getting a refund instead of credit?

I have never received a refund, just the credit. I think the JB credits are great. So few airlines do them anymore.

That's what I thought. The agent on the phone told me that, as of December 1, 2007, they'll be charging $10 to make that kind of change (honoring the lower price and providing credit).

I guess I'll be happy with that credit! Do you know if the credit expires?

The credit has to be used (a flight booked) by one year from the time that you got the credit.

The credit expires in one year.

I had no they idea they would start charging for the credit. I'm surprised someone on Flyer Talk has not picked up on this yet.

lol Im flying jet blue and panicked I went online to check but my flight is still about 200 less then if I buy it now
