We live in SoCal and will be arriving at WDW about 7:30 PM.

My problem is that I want to get up early and go to EMH so we can get a lot done.
Should I keep everyone up really late the night before we leave?
My DS's are 9 and ll.

Any thoughts?

I wouldn't do a morning EMH the next day personally...I'd make your first day a pool day or hit the parks later for dinner and/or fireworks...just relax and get ready to do an early day your 2nd full day. Your kids are a little older so they should be fine after a day to adjust.

That's a great idea. I do have that planned except that I made ADR's at Kona for 9:00 AM. I guess if I can't get them up we could take a taxi instead of the bus if we were running late.
Thanks!

We live on the West coast and fly to WDW 1-2x a year typically. We have never really found the 3hr time difference to be that big of a deal. The best way to deal with jet lag is to just jump into the new schedule. I wouldn't recommend keeping them up late the night before because that might backfire. They will probably be excited to be there and once you get outside in the sunshine they will start to wake up. :)

We usually have more trouble adjusting back to our own time zone - but maybe that's because we didn't want to leave Florida in the first place? ;) lol

Anyway, hope you have a really great trip!

You are so lucky to get to go so often. Thanks for the great advice!
