Flown it? We just booked for March (Saturday to Saturday) from Boston to Orlando non-stop for $268 per person. I know, a lot, but everything else we checked was more expensive, even trying to fly out of Providence. Delta, SW, AA, were all over $300!! All of these $79 one-way fares aren't being offered for March, I'm assuming because it is spring break week?

Thoughts on Jet Blue?

I can let you know after February. :teeth: I have them booked for Feb school vacation week from BOS to FLL. So far I have heard nothing but good things. I think you will be pleased.

There are lots of other posters who have flown with them, so I am sure you will get some better responses! :teeth:

Also, our flights for school vacation week were $264 each (non stop, round trip) and I was pleased with that given the week it was. We are flying Friday to the following Saturday

We haven't tried Jet Blue yet, but we can't wait...we'll be flying out of JFK to MCO in 2 weeks w/ them. My BIL uses them alot and highly recomended them. He kept raving about the individual TV screens (w/ satalite tv) in front of each seat, which is supposed to be all leather.

So we can't wait to try it out, we got our tix for $205. pp/rt (tax included).

Hope this helped! P.S. I've read that the owner of Jet Blue on one of his planes once a week and comes to talk to his customers...which seems pretty humble.:)

ENJOY!

PPS...We bought an extra ticket for my sister but she had to cancel, instead of issuing a credit/refund, Jet Blue opens an "account" for you and holds your $ in that account for "future" use...which isn't so bad. (Sorry to ramble, just thought I'd share that small info.!;) )

We flew Jetblue from DC to Vegas this past june and loved it. The seats are all leather and comfy and more leg room than most other jets Ive flown. AND Ive got two words for you CABLE TV!! This helped my severe paranoia of flying as during takeoff and landing i would hold my breath, turn up Trading Spaces and before I knew it it was over!!:bitelip: :faint:

We've flown it to San Diego, Seattle and New Orleans and LOVE it! Nonstop, everyone has their own TV, and if you need to change or cancel they have very friendly policies. For instance, we were planning to fly to Orlando from NY this December and had to change our plans. They simply charged us $25 per ticket to change (most charge $75-$100) and credited our account for a year. We'll be using that credit for our tickets in August 2004.

No food, tho, so bring your own or stop by the little deli they have at the boarding area (at least they do at JFK).

have fun!

Love it, Love it, Love it! I'd pay higher fares just to fly with them over the larger commercial airlines. Their service is first rate, the planes are comfy and immaculate. I hate the "larger" airlines and their terrible service so I'm thrilled to give my business to Jet Blue!

Perhaps the best Jet Blue story i have is when there was the HUGE power failure over the summer. JFK wasn't closed down (even though they had no power) yet the only airline who didn't cancel the flights was Jet Blue. They called in all of their employees and used flashlights to do everything by hand and get their passengers to their destinations. When all was said and done I think they cancelled 2 flights in a 24 hours period. Pretty amazing when all the other commercial airlines didn't give a hoot about their passengers.

They serve beverages and snacks but no meals.

You'll have a great flight.

:)

We flew Jet Blue 2 years ago. Ever since then, all my kids ask is "are we flying Jet Blue? Why aren't we flying Jet Blue?"

We are flying Jet Blue again in March as well. It's a great airline and very well run.

Jet Blue is the ONLY airline I will use to fly to Florida and California. I have been flying with them since they started, which was in 2000. They are the very first airline to have the pilot doors reinforced, closed circuit TV, so that the pilots can see whats going on inside the plane, they have satelite TV infront of every seat, (my DS 11, loves the cartoon channel), the chairs are roomier and made out of leather. They give you snacks and soft drinks. On longer flights, they give you cheese & crackers & other snacks. They encourage you to bring a sandwich if you like. I have always been ontime with them as well. I have lost count as to how many times Ive flown. I belong to the True Blue Club and have received a free plane ticket (its like frequent flyer miles).

Keep watching their website for the airfares..If you book, and you see the fare go down, call them and they will credit you for the difference. Sometimes they will allow you to re-book without penalty. My last trip to WDW, which was Oct 25-Nov 1, I paid $79. each way. I fly out of JFK, NYC. (they have a real nice terminal) Ive flown to California for as cheap as $220 r/t, tax included.

Watch the website. Ive seen the price change within a couple of hours. If you book months in advance you can get a great deal, AND sometimes the rates are higher, then they drop. Usually, the earlier you book, the cheaper the rate, and the middle of the week is the cheapest.

Have a great trip

:wave2: ::yes::
