I was thinking of trying jetblue the next time we head down to wdw. im really keen on the indivdual tv's. I just had a question, is Jet blue comparable to SWA in terms of changing flights and credits? I know SWA is very accomodating and although i dont anticipate changing flights.. you just never know. what else does jetblue offer that SWA doesn't.

I have been a huge Jetblue fan for awhile now. But, they have started making schedule changes pretty much almost as frequently as other airlines. SW usually doesn't make those changes.
You do have to keep an eye on any flights you have with them, simply because of possible changes.

I fly both and while making a change or cancellation on SW is easy and results in no fees, you do have to pay a fee if you make a schedule change on Jetblue. That is the only negative I can say. On Jetblue if you price drops you can get a credit to your account. Also you have assigned seating on JB and they participate in RAC at the Disney resorts so they will take your luggage and send it to the airport. SW does not have either of these options. For August we are flying down on SW and home on Jetblue.

As mentioned you will be charged if you need to change your flight. You will receive a credit toward a future flight should the cost go down. Assigned seats, free first checked bag and the tvs are worth it. I have not experienced the changes of flight times other than by mins the others have mentioned. No huge changes like Airtran will do at least.

Here's page with a chart listing the cost if the price drops on an airline ticket you've already purchased:

http://www.yapta.com/faq/content/9/28/en/airline-change-fees.html

Alaska and JetBlue are the only airlines on the chart with no fee. Southwest is missing from the chart because they are not tracked by Yapta.

JetBlue is fine airline with an all-economy in-flight product that's superior to the economy class service of other domestic carriers.

I love JetBlue and fly them whenever I can. However their flights out of Newark have gotten ridiculous. My last two flights down, they were $200. more than Continental. TV's are great but not worth that for a 2 hour flight.

I love both SW and Jet Blue.

But, to add to the prior posts. Jet Blue credits stay with the name of the original owner, I don't think they are transferable to another person? My husband and I often pass credits back and forth on SW. And I like combining a couple of credits to buy a new ticket. On the plus side, JB told ME they expire on the flight date, not the date the ticket was origininally purchased like SW.

Anyone, please correct me if any of this info is incorrect.
