Jet Blue BOS/PVD-MCO Any Chance of a Sale?

Booked our package on May 9th and have been patiently waiting/hoping for a sale for our dates Oct 19-26th and there has been nothing for over 2.5 months. I thought I read ~ 90 days out was the best time to book air and that was a week ago. Every other Tuesday I get an e-mail for JB about a "2 day sale". 2 day sale price from BOS/PVD is the exact same prices as the day before. :-(

I was so excited to get the free dining PIN in May and figured I had plenty of time to get a decent price on air but nothing. I didn't think I would be paying full fare for the flights.

I know fuel/gas is on the rise, should I just bite the bullet and pay the price or wait a few more weeks? We don't really want to fly SW; would prefer to have an assigned seat.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

You probably don't want to hear this, but we drastically reduced the cost of Jet blue tickets by changing our dates. Leaving on a Tuesday and returning on a Wednesday dropped the price from over $500 to $227. This is leaving from Vermont. I've never really seen Jet Blue do discounts for VT to Orlando. It's a popular destination.

Thanks, FD doesn't start until 10/18 so can't do mid week that week and the following week is no good due to work obligations.

Had seen good sales for JB Sat-Sat in September, was hoping to get something for October.

They release sales/promotions when they need to fill seats! I tend to book as soon as they open the booking window. I would book something now, so you'll have it. If the fares go down, you can call JB and they will give you a credit to use on a future flight.

Check a few times every day for unannounced sales. The last 2 flights from BDL to MCO have been around $100 each way. I check the JB app 3 to 4 times a day for changes in price.

I usually purchase the day they open up new dates and keep monitoring the prices. I've gotten my best deals checking early Saturday and Sunday mornings. Never once gotten a deal on a Tuesday sale. Best one was for last May @ $94 coming home on a Sunday. Since booking our late October flights to MCO, I've already got $130 in credits for next year.

Hope this helps

Did you know that with Jetblue if you buy tickets & the price goes down you can call them for a credit voucher (valid for travel for 1 year).?

JetBlue & Southwest does this...

Yes, but not likely to be traveling in the next 12 months. But if I do get a credit that might make me plan another vacation :)

I know you said you didn't want to do Southwest, but we always use them out of Providence and have never had any problems at all. No, no assigned seats, but Providence isn't a connecting hub, so pretty much everyone's starting their trip there. We always fly with four and have always been able to sit together. We don't do the EBCI, but do check-in ourselves at exactly 24 hours.

I've just found the SW prices are sooooo much cheaper than Jet Blue--at least out of Providence. You might want to look at SW and add in the EBCI fee--might still be cheaper than Jet Blue and you'd at least get priority boarding.
